It was loud. Too loud for Kay. She just wanted to be left alone. She didn't want to have to put on an act, not anymore. She just wanted some time to understand where she stood, what she had to offer to those gathered. She was useless to everyone as far as she was concerned. So why was she here, amidst these people who out shined her, who out did her at every turn?
Why was she forced to act for people who didn't care about her?
Why was she forced to smile and laugh, when all she wanted to do was cry? To hide away and be forgotten?

The other guilds stood amongst one another in Divinus Magia's guild hall, everyone interacting as if the end of Atlantide hadn't just barely been avoided a week ago.
That's what had occurred though. They brought down the Garden. They had killed the Grandmaster, and had ended his plot to overthrow the guilds protecting this city. The day had been saved. Happily Ever After, right?
  No. It isn't.
Kay could also see it in a few others as she glanced around. Ritchie, one of the leaders of Divinus Magia, had taken a hard hit, she heard. His brother, Brandon, has gone missing. He isn't dead, as far as Ritchie is concerned, but there hasn't been any sign of him.
Ritchie has become solemn after that, keeping to himself more, starting an alcoholic habit. It wasn't good for him.
Inmo was also hit hard. He had lost the one person that had acted so much as a father figure to him. He has become depressed as well. Trying to act like Björn in any physical way possible. He was trying to revive a dead person.
Even Silver was badly off. He had been forced to kill the last bit of family he had. At least had physically, if the rumours are true about Reaper.
And Kay? The reason why she was now amongst those people? Because she hadn't done anything to help them.
Sure, she might have helped Lo Pho gain control of his body again after allowing that God into his being, but that was it. She didn't help any of the guilds fight off the Garden. She hadn't protected any of the citizens.
She had just been there. As useless a bystander as any. Watching as innocent humans were taken through the portals, being able to hear the crack of their bones and bodies as they were broken down just on the other side.
She was as much a murderer as anyone.

Kay let out a defeated sigh, burying her head in her arms, which were resting against the bars countertop.
How long had they been here for now? Two hours, approximately. And nobody had acknowledged her.
That was probably for the best. Who would want to take notice of someone as insignificant as her?

The bartender caught sight of her depressed form soon after she laid her her down. The aura she emitted, as unnoticeable as it was, could be felt if you were close enough to her.
The bartender frowned, quickly grabbing a mug and pouring her a glass of beer. He had no idea who exactly she was, just that she belonged to one of the guilds.
Kay raised her head when she heard something slide across the countertop in front of her. There was a glass with an oddly coloured liquid, the one's she usually sees the older people around her drinking.
She raised a confused gaze to the bartender, a question on her face. He caught her stare, sending her a soft smile.

"You look like you need it." Was all he said before turning and beginning to clean some of the glasses.
Kay looked to the drink once more, scanning it, noticing the foam that made up the top one-fifth.
