6. My Hyuga friend

So, I'm gonna have a lot of Billie songs but that's because I and Adrienne as a character can relate to her songs the most. This song relates to her feelings for now.

"Hey, Sasuke!" I call out him before he gets too far away. He turns around and glares at me, wondering what I could possibly want from him.

"What do you want? Don't you have something to do?" He asked rudely.

"Oh uh, I was going to ask if you would like to hang out with us later?" I asked hopefully. I felt bad for denying him like that.

He looked at the ground and thought about it for a second before he looked at me and abruptly says "No." He then turned around and left. Well, that was rude.

"Nice talking to you too duckass!" I shouted towards his general direction.

"Adri! Meet me at Ichiraku's at 7 ok!" Naruto shouted from the opposite direction while walking backward. I gave him a thumbs-up as a reply.

I start walking to the place one of my only friends lived. The Hyuga compound.

I start blushing thinking about Hinata's older cousin, Neji. For as long as I can remember I've always had a crush on that dude. But whenever I try to talk to him he ignores me, or barely acknowledges me. He kinda acts like Sasuke now that I think about it. I know he doesn't like Hinata that much, so maybe he just associates me with her?

My emotions keep getting in my way when talking to people. I'm either too shy or too mad. Sometimes both. how does someone manage to be both?! I keep walking down the main road until I finally make it to the compound.

I walk up to the massive double doors and knock a couple of times. I nervously start to tie and untie my hoodie strings together.

I finally feel someone walking towards the door, they didn't even bother asking who it was because they can see me through the door. When the door opens, I was greeted by no other than Neji. I felt a presence move closer to me but stopped. That's weird.

Neji cleared his throat, I then realized I've been staring at his adorable face this whole time. I started blushing so much I thought I would faint.

"What do you want?" He asked, uninterested in what I would say.

"I-I came t-t-to hang out with Hinata." I stuttered out because I'm stupid and low-key scared.

He sat there and stared at me before he turned around and signaled me to follow. I follow him and he leads me to the middle of the compound, which was outside.

I see Hinata slouched over completely exhausted. Instantly I shed my shell of shyness. I run over there and hugged my sweaty best friend.

"Adrienne I just saw you yesterday."
She giggles softly with a bit of blush. Even though she's more talkative around me, she's still sweet and delicate when she talks.

"I know it's just been a long day and I missed you." I said continuing to hug her. She pulled me off of her and lead me to a bench. I looked over to one of the doors closest to us and see Neji keeping watch. Ahhh why does he have to watch us?!

"Hinata I wanted to hang out with you like we did yesterday." I finally spoke out.

She looked at me and smiled a little smile. "That's fine just let me shower real quick." She got up and start walking away. "Oh, and there are snacks in the kitchen if you're hungry."

I started to walk to the kitchen until someone jerks my arm around. "Where are you going?" Neji asks with a serious voice.

"Umm to Hinata's room and m-maybe the kitchen." I say looking at the ground. I feel something grab my chin and lift it up. I see lilac eyes looking right into my green ones. I thought I would melt, I mean we're so close together and he's actually touching me.
