Alone? (A Naruto Fanfiction)

1. Rude Awakening

I was having a pleasant dream about the forest. I was walking down the path that the forest somehow created. The light breeze blows against my neck and makes my sheer white dress flow in the wind. I'm almost like a woodland spirit. I can hear creatures chattering as I feel the soft morning dew grass tickle my toes.

I look around an old oak tree and find a deer. I was meer seconds from touching the deer, till I was rudely awakened by my dumbass alarm.

I then realized it was time to go to hell. And by hell I mean school. Yes, I know I'm being a dramatic baby but I just don't like people. I mean don't get me wrong I would love to have friends, the problem is making them.

I quit my complaining, then I casually started moonwalking to my small closet. And I pulled out my outfit of the day. It's not much but at least it doesn't show my body that much. You may be wondering why I'm just now going to school at 12. Well, I did go to school at one point but I soon left when I found out I couldn't deal with people. Iruka-Sensei offered to give me lessons at home or in the forest, because it's my favorite place. I view him as a big brother, my only family member.

Anyways, I got my clothes on while singing one of my favorite songs. I also brushed my hair up into a big poof. Kinda reminds me of a bird's nest but, oh well. I then start to brush my teeth but I stop and look at the mirror. I took a closer look and noticed all the flaws and acne scars, my fat nose and big lips, the only thing decent thing was my eyes and those were covered with these stupid glasses. I took my hoodie off and looked at my body, the way my stomach bulged out, and the way my stretch marks led trails around my body. I know I'm only 12 but I can't ignore the the fact that im built like a brick, with no curves. The more I look the more I got anxious. One lonely tear slid down my cheek as I sit there questioning why was I the way I was. I wipe the tear and smiled. It helped a little but I still hit my face with cold water to relax me.

After that trainwreck, I put my hoodie back on, walked out of my apartment and locked the door. I usually skip out on breakfast cause I don't like eating early in the morning.

As I walked down the road I started daydreaming about how the day would go. I honestly don't remember my classmates, well Hinata is the only person I know. But that's only because she can sorta understand where I'm coming from. Plus she brings by my food.

I was brought out of my thoughts when I hear running behind me. And I was starting to get scared as hell. Of course, I started to run, because I'm not gonna die just yet. Suddenly, I get tackled by an eager blonde carrying paint.

"Hey, watch it" I yelp as I hit the ground. I see him running from a couple of higher rank ninjas.
"Sorry, lady!" The little delinquent yelled as he snatched my hand pulling me to my feet and dragging me behind him.

"What are you doing?! Where are we going?!" I questioned as we took a couple of turns.

"Shhhh! They thought you were with me anyway. Might as well get caught together!" He smiled the biggest grin I've ever seen. I gaped at him in wonder with a lot of blush across my face. Good thing, he pulled me aside and gave me a corner of cloth because I held it up and covered my face, also I think that's what he wanted me to do. We held it up as two ninjas jumped past yelling for someone named Naruto. The boy, who I assumed was named Naruto, began to chuckle. It was contagious so I started to as well.

I felt a hand still on mine so I looked down and saw he was still holding my hands. I blushed but snatched my hand the fuck away and quickly look away, cause god knows I can't catch feelings OR receive them. And when we looked back up I gulped. Iruka-Sensei.

"AHHHH!!! IRUKA-SENSEI!!!" Naruto starts begging for forgiveness.

"AREN'T YALL SUPPOSED TO BE IN CLASS! AND ADRIENNE THIS IS YOUR FIRST DAY!!!" he cried out.

"I-I-I'm sorry Iruka s-sensei so is Naruto..." I muttered as I glared at Naruto. I swear if I get in trouble he's gonna find his house paint it inside and out with paint. "Too late" Iruka replied. The next thing I knew Naruto and I was tied together and pulled by Iruka to the Academy.

Naruto's Pov

I was running with the paint that I used for my latest prank. Painting the Hokages faces! Great huh? As I run I notice a girl about my age running in the distance. She seemed aware of the yelling and started running. I heard one of the ninjas yell "Oh now you have an accomplice!?"

I accidentally run into her while trying to pull her with me. "Hey, watch it!" She yelped. "Sorry, lady!" I yelled back. I then snatched her arm and brought her with me so she doesn't get into trouble.

"What are you doing!? Where are we going!?" the mystery girl asks, well yells.

"Shhhh! They thought you were with me anyway. Might as well get caught together!" I gave her the biggest reassuring smile I could muster. When I looked at her again she was staring at me with hints of red on her face. Maybe she's sick?

I spot a place to hide, so I quickly pull her aside and hand her a corner of cloth. She understood what I meant when we both lifted it up and the ninjas jumped pass.

I turn and look at the girl I definitely don't recognize and I chuckle. She looks up and chuckles too. And when she does her smile is so adorable and she has these cute little dimples. But her eyes told a different story you can tell she's lonely like me. We both look down and notice we're still holding hands. I start to blush. Damn it, why am I blushing!? I do NOT like this girl I don't even know her name! She isn't even that cute!

Suddenly she quickly pulls her hand away and looks away. We both look up and saw someone we didn't want to see.

"AHHHH!!! IRUKA-SENSEI!!!" I scream while begging for his forgiveness.

"AREN'T YALL SUPPOSED TO BE IN CLASS! AND ADRIENNE THIS IS YOUR FIRST DAY!!!" he yelled out.

"I-I-I'm sorry Iruka s-sensei so is Naruto..." Adrienne whispered as she glared directly at me. I gulped because her eyes told me that I'm in trouble.

"Too late." Was all I heard from him before me and Adrienne was tied together on his back, like a sack of potatoes, on the way to the Academy.
