Part 10

Carmines POV

The ride to the lake was interesting I guess you could say. We had to take 2 separate cars cause 1 there's to many of us to fit in one car. And 2 we also had the bags with tents and all that Jazz.

I went in Dallys (Bucks) car with Dal, Two bit,Steve,and Soda. I guess you could say I got the car with the most annoying people. While Pony and Johnny got stuck with the most boring person ever. So I picked my poison. Dal and Twobit sat upfront while I sat between in between tweedle dee and tweedle dumb. I mean I love these boys but being in the car with them for more than 2 hours would make anyone go crazy.

"Soda stop pokin me would ya."

"Who says I have to little miss?"

"I do so stop."

"Would you little Curtis kids stop yapping. I do not want to pull the car over and smack some sense into both of ya,"Dally replied. I knew he would pull this car over and make this trip longer than it needed to be. Also Dally doesn't hit girls he isn't that cold. Yet it's Dal you still gotta respect him.

"Ooo you just got told,said a snickering Two bit from the front."

"Ah Two bit can it would ya. " I said

"Yea Two bit shut up." Soda saying in agreement

"Hey Soda look at this". Steve then proceeded to poke me the same way Soda did.Soda then continued to poke me as well. This made me really consider my options on which car I had chosen. And we still had an hour left.

"Would you both stop."

"Make us princess". We all then proceeded to fight in the back seat. Two bit was laughing hysterically while Dal. Well Dal I couldn't really tell he looked pissed but had a slight smirk on his face at the same time. If I'm being honest in that moment all the worry's of the world began to fade away. I hadn't really hung out with the guys like this since mom and dad passed.

Dal then yelled from the front. "If I crash this car I'm gonna kill everyone of yous, you hear me!"

Everyone got quiet except me. I couldn't contain my laughter I had no idea why. But I just kept laughing. I saw a small smirk on Soda and Steve's faces. While Two bit had a full on grin. We all began to laugh even Dal. At what I couldn't tell you for the life of me.

Throughout the ride we sang along to songs on the radio. Two bit told us a bung of his wild stories that he totally blew out of proportion. Soda and Steve told stories from work I felt myself beginning to get tired. I rested my head on top of Sodas shoulder and fell asleep.

Sodas POV

The car ride to the lake was going great. My plan of getting car to loosen up was working. Before we left I spoke to the guys who were gonna go in Dals car and we discussed ways to make Carmine loose up. Yet her being her worked in our favor. I saw something I haven't seen in her since mom and dad died. I saw her happy. She just looked so carefree.  I could tell after a while though she was getting tired though. As I predicted she rested her head on my shoulder and fell asleep.
After we made sure she was completely asleep the guys and I all shared a glance of victory. I then felt myself get tired. I guess it's a twin thing. I then put my head on her head and fell asleep.

Back to Carmines POV

"Wake up little buddies". I heard Darry say. I guess were already here.

"Aren't they just the cutest little things", I heard Two bit said as if we were 6 not 16.
I began to lift my head yet realized Sods head was on top of mine. Dally quickly fixed that problem by coming on the other side of the car open the door and smacked Soda upside the head.

"Hey sleeping beauty time to get up."

"Dal what was that for,?"my brother asked still half asleep.

"For being annoying as hell in the car".

Soda and I both out of the car and all the guys began to set up their tents. May O say the wrong way. I was bunking with soda, pony with Johnny, Two bit and Steve, and lastly Darry and Dal. With that last ten Tim not gonna lie I was nervous for that. Dal and Darry both got big muscles and personalities.

After I set up Soda and mined tents I went to watch the other guys attempt to put up theirs. If I'm being honest it was quite amusing. Two and Steve had no idea what to do. Darry wanted to read the instructions while Dally just wanted to go rogue, and Pony and Johnny were both too weak to actually get anything to stick in the ground. I began to walk over to help the guys until Soda stopped me.

"No,no dear sister of mine. You are not to be stressed during this trip. You will sit here in amusement and watch with me."

"Well If I can't help them why can't you?"

"You really think I would help them when I didn't help put up our own."

"So doesn't that just defeat the purpose of me not stressing when you had me build the whole thing on my own."

"Well...yea I guess but the not stress things starts from this moment on".

It was late and time for all of us to start heading to sleep. Long story short the guys finally set up their tents and were heading to bed

We entered the tent and Soda wrapped his arms around me.

"Goodnight little sis.

"Your older by like 3 minutes.

.Still older.

"Yea whatever Good night Soda."

A/N ok I'm finally updating ik shocker. I'm actually really proud of this chapter. I'm off tmmr and next Tuesday I think so I hope to get a few updates up if possible. So yea I love y'all and ty guys so much for all the read and votes it means the world to me
