After a long few days in the hospital I'm finally allowed to leave, I make my way to the train station where I see others from my class.
I see a few eyes land on me and their faces instantly turn to one of surprise.
Ida sees me walking onto the platform and immediately comes my way, "Akamori, you're out of the hospital just in time for the internships, I hope you choose wisely and has your class president I wish you the best of luck on your journey the next week," Ida says giving me an inter speech.
I nod at him and make my way to my train, and since I'm the only one, besides Todoroki, who is going to be saying at the Todoroki household I'm alone on the train.
Well, when I say alone I mean with nobody I know at least.
"Uh, Miss Akamori, right? I saw you during the sports festival you did great, I was just wondering why you didn't fight Bakugo?" A man asks me.
"I didn't feel like it," I state knowing that I'm lying but I don't want anyone to know that I couldn't continue. That information could be used against me, seeing my emotionless face the man just nodded at me and walked away.
When I finally make it to my stop I get off and walk towards the Todoroki household. Finding my way is not that hard and I soon reach the door.
I knock on the door, it opens and I'm met with a surprised-looking Todoroki.
"Akamori? I didn't know you were going to do your internship here. I'm sorry, come on in," He says letting me into the hallway.
I quickly slip off my shoes and walk with him to the living room, he sits down on the couch and I sit down across from him.
"My father will be home in an hour, I expect training to start then. Akamori, why did you decide to do your internship here?" He asks a curious look on his face, one I've never seen before.
"Well, I got many offers but there were a few that stood out to me. Your fathers being one of them, after I started to look at it he seemed like the best option. I need to learn how to control my quirk and get more lasting endurance. I know he is far from a good father but you can't become number 2 hero by just doing nothing," I answer him honestly feeling like there is no reason to lie.
"Also I was thinking about going somewhere else but, I knew for sure you were going to be entering here as well so I wouldn't have to be alone," I quickly add.
"I understand, if I may ask who were the other options?" He asks.
"Well I had made a list of 5 but 3 of them were barely an option considering I had already mastered what they stood for. So there were 2 left, Endeavor and Assiduous," I answer him.
"Why did you pick my old man?" He asks, almost sounding like he doesn't know who Assiduous is.
"Well, I'm not ready to face mine," I simply state.
His mind seems to be thinking hard on something until his face just changes into a look that says, 'now I get it'.
"You're the daughter of Hisao and Yumi Akamori," He says finally laying the connection.
"Yep, that's me. Don't worry your one of the few people that now know they even have a child," I tell him.
"What?" He asks.
"They covered up my existence because my quirk wasn't hero like," I tell him.
"Oh, I didn't know. I'm sor-"
"It's not your fault, you didn't know," I interrupt him. "Can you please keep it to yourself, you and Shinso are now the only people, besides the teachers, who I've told. And honestly, I'd rather not be linked to them," I tell him.
