Broken || Shoto Todoroki x Reader [ discontinued ]

Chapter 9 || Start

Today is the Sports Festival. I talked about it to my therapist and she said that if I encounter my parents or one of them I should keep my composure and pretend like what they did to me never happened. To show them I can be stronger than they think.

We just arrived at the stadium and we could already see hundreds of people standing in line to watch the festival.

I'm sitting next to Todoroki and neither of us talked but we both know we don't need to.

We are in the waiting room and Todoroki just stands up and walks to Midoriya.

Todoroki challenges Midoriya saying that he will beat him and knowing Todoroki he has thought about this for a long time. In my opinion, he is most likely going to beat Midoriya.

They both sit back down and we wait a little while longer. We finally get called into the arena and the bleachers are completely packed. I can hear Present Mic starting to talk about something but I drown out his voice and concentrate on getting my shit together.

Than Midnight, the R-Rated hero calls Bakugo to the front to say a few words. This will not end well.

"I promise you. I'll Take First Place." He simply states, well what did they expect letting Bakugo talk.

The other students got instantly mad and started yelling at him I kept my composure and just shook my head.

Midnight announced that the first thing we were going to be doing is an Obstacle Race.

A door opened and I got in a running stance getting ready to get out of the big group of kids.

Ding.

I looked straight ahead.

Ding.

I stand.

Ding.

I run as fast as my legs can carry me, which is pretty fast compared to the other kids.

I look to my left and see Todoroki staring at everyone and then he freezes the ground I just manage to avoid his by running against the wall and getting back down onto the ice.

I almost lose my balance but I quickly start making a skating motion. I was near the front of everyone and after a while, I can start running again.

The next obstacle are giant robots, I see Todoroki freeze one and it's falling I run to the left and one lowers its hand to grab me I jump on it an start running up its arm.

Once I reach its shoulder I close my hand break the robot I start falling to the ground and just before I hit the ground another robot tries to catch me stopping my fall and I can easily jump down from this robot. I'm just behind Todoroki and Bakugo.

I start running towards the next obstacle my classmates not far behind me.

I reach the next stage and I see a bunch of ropes across pillars I stop and take a few deep breaths to calm my heart rate. 

I have a very good balance point it's one of the few things I could train while I was locked up. 

I walk up to the first rope and set foot on it felling it under my foot.

I close my eyes and start walking across it. I open my eyes again and start walking faster and faster from pillar to pillar. To a point, I was almost running across the ropes. 

I reach the end and see many kids struggling or falling.

The only ones in front of me right now are Todoroki and Bakugo, they might be a problem.
