"There we go all watered and ready to sprout." I had just finished planting the begonias when Zeffra walked in looking a little flustered."There you are I was starting to wonder if you were trying to follow in Tallen's footsteps." I teased, eying her.
"Oh s-sorry I won't be late again!"
I laughed,"It's fine Zeffra I'm not as strict as my dad but do try to get here on time; we have a lot of work to do."
"Ok yeah sure, hehe." She looked less worried.
"Why are you still standing there?! Get to work, come on!" I yelled trying not to laugh and break character.
"O-of course, sorry!" She scrambled to the tool box trying to grab some gardening gloves.
Haha was she really so gullible?
"Hey Zeffra, I'm kidding again. Relax." I said laughing.
She turned red. From embarrassment or anger I'm not sure but it was fun to see the impact I made.
"Well what ever, what do I need to do today?" She asked glowering.
"Ok so today your job is to plant the carrots over in the top right section and the potatoes right next to 'em."
"Alright I'll go grab a shovel."
She got her tools and started planting the seeds. I had just finished planting my second batch of flowers when I decided to spark up a little conversation.
"Soo, I noticed you came in today looking a little, uh, flustered. What's up?" I asked lifting my eyebrows.
"Oh nothing I uh just had to deal with some conflict between my brother and this guy is all."
She was definitely hiding something.
"Some guy huh? Who is he? Is he cute? I could probably spark a little something between you two if you wanted since I know just about everyone here."
"No! I mean...no that's fine hehe. Um his name is Click. Well technically it's Shawn but ya know...it's nothing."
I raised my eyebrows in surprise.
"Click huh? Hmm he is cute although I'm not really into the really smart, nerdy type...at least I don't think I am."
"Really? Well type are you into then?"
Well she got me. What type? I never dated anyone so I didn't really know...I guess I had always been kind of attracted to the 'bad boy' type. I decided to be honest without all the detail.
"Honestly.. I don't know, I've never had a boyfriend."
Now it was her turn to be suprised.
"Really? You've had a crush before though right?"
"Not really I mean my dad really kept me in a protective bubble my whole life, I didn't really get out much."
"Not even within the camp?"
"Maybe but a long time ago, most of the guys in here came with girls and don't really hang out in the green house."
"Well maybe we can hook you up with someone too."
I rolled my eyes," yeah, good luck with that."
