I shut my eyes tight for a second, before taking a deep breath. This was unlike any anxiety I'd felt before. My heart felt like it was in my throat. I opened my eyes. I took my finger towards the speaker button, and spoke. "Yuri." I said, clearly, with an incredibly shaky voice. She turned her head towards me, her eyes like two glass balls of no emotion. It took her a second to recognise me. Her eyes widened, as her jaw dropped. "M-Mon...Monika." She stuttered, as she began to crawl towards me, off her bed. Tears flooded down my face the moment she did this. Poor Yuri, poor poor Yuri. "Yuri, I-...came to visit you. I-It's been a while." I smiled, as tears streamed down my face. I placed my palm on the glass as she looked up at me from the ground. "Your my first visitor." Yuri began to laugh, quite terrifyingly. I was speechless. "Am I?" I stuttered, taking a step back from the glass. "Sure are!" She laughed in a monotone way. Like a computer. "I've...I've been thinking of you, ever since I last saw you, you know." I looked back at her, sensing she was emotional. "I've been thinking nothing. It's...cool." Yuri mused, as she leaped to her feet. "But I'm hungry, Monika. I want one of Natsuki's cakes." Yuri's eyes lit up, as I saw a genuine smile taped across her pale face. I laughed, wiping tears from my cheeks. "Well..she might be visiting soon." I replied, taking a seat in the chair beside the glass. "R-Really?" Yuri launched towards me, placing her hands on the glass. "I-I missed you guys. I-I did." Yuri stammered, as she began to laugh, creepily again. I was slightly uncomfortable, but I wasn't expecting anything other than this. After all, she's unwell. "I missed you too, Y." I placed my hand where hers was. I could almost feel the warmth. She was twitchy, I could see. And every now and then she'd stumble on her feet. She was so frail. "M-Monika, help." Yuri's face suddenly became intense, as she pressed it up against the glass, startling me. "I would f-fucking do anything to feel, r-right now, to feel anything, you know?" She murmured. I was taken back. "Yuri, calm down..." I began, feeling nervous again in her presence. "J-just help me get my fix, h-huh?? L-like...ahhh..a pair of scissors." Yuri glared at me, a scary grin taped upon her mouth. "Yuri, please..." I began to hyperventilate, feeling an urge to stand up.

HorrorThis is my first time writing this particular type of story, but I've always been interested in horror! It's a hard genre to write in I think personally, so this was really hard to write. Enjoy!
