Ahead of us, were 20 bolted doors with numbers on each one. Yuri's was at the end. Patient 301. I deeply regretted coming here now. "Alright! Follow me this way." The guide said warmly, as we strolled down the hallway. She clicked open the door, 301, and we were greeted with a huge grey cover against the glass, we were unable to see Yuri. "Oh, and one more thing, Yuri's room will be unusually plain and empty at the moment, we've had to take a lot of furniture and activities away as she struggles to control her self harm urges and can often destroy some of the things we place inside." The guide said, before she waved a goodbye and left me alone in the room. I couldn't believe what I was about to witness. I didn't want to pull the blind up. But, I wasn't just going to sit there for a half hour. I felt sick to my stomach. I took a deep breath, as I began to do up the blind. I finished doing the blind up, and looked through the glass. Yuri's room consisted of one bolted door with bars, a white bed, a stool fixed into the ground and three books in the corner of the room, for her entertainment most likely. There was 2 security cameras watching her every move. Then, I saw her. Yuri was crouched on the end of her bed, hugging her legs, looking blankly at the floor, tapping her finger against her knee repetitively. She was dressed in a long blue spotted gown. Her hair hung down lifelessly around her shoulders. She looked incredibly pale, and had hundreds, if not thousands, of scars up and down her arms and ankles. My heart sank. She didn't look like she'd changed at all since the incident. Still the same old same old. I swallowed, before noticing a speaker by the blind. There was a black button beside it. I assumed this was how I spoke to her.

KorkuThis is my first time writing this particular type of story, but I've always been interested in horror! It's a hard genre to write in I think personally, so this was really hard to write. Enjoy!
