College Days

Chapter Seven

Si Edward ay naglalakad pabalik mula sa isang grueling basketball practice. Tumingin siya sa relo niya dahil he had no clue what time or day was for that matter. Ang naiisip nya lang nung oras na un ay tungkol sa basketball at kung gaano siya pagod. He realized it was 5 in the afternoon naisapin nyang pumunta nang canteen para kumain. Bumili sya nang smoothie and sandwich then headed toward the exit thanking God his long day of basketball and classes was over. Before he had a chance to look up, he bumped into someone.

"Excuse me," pareho nilang sinabi and napa buntong hininga sya nang si Kisses pala ung nabunggo nya.

"Sorry I didn't see you," sabi niya at tahimik lang si Kisses at umalis na

"Kisses, wait, I'm sorry," tawag niya at tumigil si Kisses upang tumingin sa kanya.

"I doubt that," she smirked and he walked up to her.

"I am sorry and I want a second chance. I promise I will listen and cooperate this time please. I have to pass Chemistry" pakiusap niya at napabuntong hininga si Kisses.

"Fine, but one more comment like that and you're out. Plus if you're serious about this then we have to start right away" he smiled and nodded.

"Let's get started" sabi niya at lumakad sila papuntang sorority house ni Kisses.

Naupo si Borj sa kanyang silid na nagbabasa muli sa kanyang script, ngunit binato nya eto. Hindi niya napigilan ang pag-iisip tungkol kay Roni and their kiss. Matapos ang mga taon ng paghihiwalay at hindi pakikipag-usap, why did it feel so right, he thought but shook his head. Ito ay dahil sa tiyempo. Nasa kalagitnaan sila ng isang romantikong eksena at ang kanilang mga emotion got the best of them. He needed to take his mind off of it and quickly signed onto his laptop. Nagsimula siyang manood ng ilang mga video sa YouTube at pagkatapos ay naisip muli si Roni. He was curious to see how her boyfriend looked. Naalala nya yung sinabi nang Kuya Dj nya at ni Benj tungkol kay Roni and Basti dati, pro wala syang chance na makilala si Basti. Mula sa paglalarawan ni Dj skanya isang matatawag na asshole to say the least. Basti was the head of a fraternity as well and the frat was the rival nang fraternity nang Kuya Dj nya. Nagpunta sya sa website nang kanilang university. He pulled up organizations and looked up Basti's Phi Beta Kappa. Borj looked at some pictures and saw a photo of a man with a smirk on his face. And Borj shooked his head.

"Please don't let this guy be Basti," malakas na sabi niya at nabasa agad ang caption na nagbubuntung-hininga. He realized it was indeed Roni's boyfriend and scrolled down to see a picture of her with him. Borj quickly closed the page and looked at more videos on youtube. Alam nya din na may account ang fraternity ni Dj at tinignan nya din un mga videos. He laughed seeing videos of fundraisers and carnivals hosted by the fraternity and Roni's sorority as well. Di maintindihan ni Borj ang nafeel pro need nya na may malaman pa about Basti. He typed in Phi Beta Kappa at Stamford University na nakangiti habang natagpuan ang isang account. Sure sya na eto ang fraternity ni Basti. Nag-scroll down si Borj sa website and nakita nya ang mga videos na available to view and napa iling na nya sya sa nakita. The videos were all about parties which made Borj think na tama ang Kuya Dj nya. Basti didn't care about giving back to the community or school, he was all about partying. Dj and Basti both ran fraternities but that's where the similarities stopped. Dj believed in setting an example and giving back to help others. While he said Basti believed in parties, hazing and the stereostypical fraternity setting. Pinanood nya ang isang video at nagulat sya sa nakita.. si Basti ay may hinahalikan na babae, at sure sya na di iyon si Roni. He quickly closed the page trying to think about what he just saw.
