4. The Snow-storm-island

GARROTHS POV

I woke up seeing what I always see when I wake up since we started this Journey and that was Laurance. I smile getting up smiling but suddenly noticed how cold it actually was. Laurence was shaking and slowly waking up smiling at me.

"I guess we're coming close to the so called Snow-storm-island "

I said.

"Y-yeah"

It was getting even colder. We decided to look if the others were awake but before that happened I noticed something. The potion had stopped working. So Laurence wasn't able to walk. I picked him up bridal style he smiled at me leaning even more against me since I was pretty warm. I got outside and saw that the others had done the same. Kai stood at the front admiring something. I walked to him seeing what it was. As soon as I saw what he was admiring I starred in aww. It was a giant wall out of ice.

"Um well let's change the plan well stop in front of it and figure out how to get inside!"

I shouted to the others

"Maybe it's good that the potion stopped working! We can explore from the sea while you examine the ice"

Vylad said. 'He seems pretty smart' I thought. When we arrived we put Vylad, Daniel, Aphmau and Laurance in the water and looked at the ice. Aaron tried to cut it with his sword but it was helpless the ice was about 3 meters thick and re generated after about 3 minutes. After an while the others came back

"There is an way underwater but you won't be able to hold your breath long enough "

Vylad said but Aphmau looked like she got an idea.

"Oh I've learned how to make mermaid potions and it's basically just adding an tiny bit of mermaid hair!"

"That Sounds like an Plan"

Aaron said as we got them back onboard. Aphmau quickly mixed the potions and gave them to us

"It's kinda unfair cause it won't hurt for u guys but that's actually an good thing "

She giggled giving them to us. I looked at the others then drank it. I felt weird for an second but that didn't last long I looked down and saw that I now had an vibrant bluish teal mermaid tail that faded into teal at the ends  and teal fading to almost white at the fins. I look up seeing Aaron having an dark red (almost black) fading to an vibrant red same on the fins, Dante having an vibrant red fading to pastel red with pastel red fins, Blaze having an black fading to dark red tail (that matches his Wolf ears) with an gradient from dark red to vibrant red,' why do most of them have red?' I asked myself. Then I looked beside me looking at Kai who now had an black fading to orange tail with pastel orange fins. Then to my other side where I saw Laurence looking at me with wide eyes and blushing quite a bit, his mouth was open and he was drooling a little bit. Aph looked at him giggling at first but then got to distracted by Aaron. He snapped back into reality and shook his head.

"S-sorry "

He said scratching the back of his head.

"I-It's o-ok"

I stuttered. We all got into the water and followed the real mermaids. We went down quite some time but finally reached an little tunnel in the ice we went trough it and ended up in an underwater cave that had another tunnel. We went trough that one too and it lead us to an cave that had land again so we went on the land and Aph explained how to go back to being an human with this potion so we did that. When we got our legs back we stood up and looked around.

KAI'S POV

I looked around and saw another tunnel I decided to follow it and when I did I saw him. An black and blue, unnaturally big wolf with green eyes and an key around his neck. It was him. Ein. I could just feel it

"Ein?"

I asked full of hope. He turned around looking at me with an confused look, ears up, tail wagging excitedly, tilting his head and making an cute noise

"Kai? "

I heard him say. He probably couldn't speak in this form but I could still hear him cause of the key guardian thing.

"Yes, it's me!"

I answered happily. His tail wagged more and he tackled me licking my face repeatedly before laying down on me nuzzling his head against me. I was giggling through the whole thing after he was done licking my face I petted him with my left hand and scratched him behind his ear. He seemed to enjoy that since he leaned into the touch and the tip of his tongue sticked out of his mouth. He then went off of me and I got up

"I'm so happy to finally meet you!"

Ein said his tail wagging about as fast as an flag in an storm.

"Me too!"

I smile at him then I heard the others coming.

"Ein. Concentrate on me and only me ok?"

I said he nodded and looked me in the eyes. The others came in and immediately knew what was going on. Vylad sneaked up to him and took the key from his neck and suddenly a shining light appeared I hid my eyes with my arm and as soon as the light was gone I looked and saw HIM. Holy Irene he's hot. I mean I expect him to be but holy Deam he is I CAN'T EVEN EXPLAIN IT. His silver eyes that shine like the stars. How the light reflects off of his dark bluish black hair with the vibrant blue strain looks like he'd be some kind of angel. The scars on his face show that he had a hard life but they are beautiful on him. His bluish black tail that fades into an vibrant blue with fins that have the vibrant blue fading into the bluish black color, it shines like diamonds in the sun and looks so elegant. His wolf ears peaking up looking as cute as the ones of an husky puppy. He looks like how my mum told me that merwolfs look like. Beautiful.
I immediately hugged him feeling my face heat up. He hugged back crying tears of joy. I couldn't blame him cause I started to too. The others just smiled at us but then I noticed that his chest was bleeding and it looked fresh.

"What happened ?!"

I asked worriedly examining the wound carefully he hissed a little bit

"Let's just say that it gets boring after an while and chasing birds to an cliff is the most entertaining thing to do till you fall down and land on an pretty massive tree...hehe..."

He explained chuckling nervously

"I can understand that"

I answered ripping my sleeve to use it as an bandage for his wounds. After I patched him up I carried him outside we could now see the ice make a path for us to go to the ship. We got onboard. As soon as we did I took him to the room I had and put him on the bed. And went to talk to aph but suddenly felt him grab my wrist

"Please don't leave me"

I immediately hugged him

"I won't "

I looked at him. Our faces were really close...

I watched my half-brother(she got adopted by his family) from the special magic connection of my crystal mentally facepalming

I literally raged. If I gotta wait then you gotta wait! So CLIFFHANGER!!!
