DEMI P.O.V.: I felt Nick's arms still holding me and how he shook his head.

Nick: this wasn't your fault Dem, it's okay...I promise it's okay

Demi: it's not Nick, this night you were supposed to be celebrating and I had to ruin everything with my fucked life (he kissed my head while I dried my tears)

Nick: I told you it's not your fault. And don't worry about the celebration, we had a nice time before everything happened

Demi: yea but you deserved to spend a nice night

Nick: I don't care nor my family does. All that matters to me now is that you're safe with me here, truly

Demi: thank you for saving me again, I'm kinda getting used to you saving me eveytime (he smiled and sat straight beside me without holding me anymore)

Nick: I'm always gonna save you if I can (I bit my lip)

Demi: did he hurt you or Joe?

Nick: no, he just hurt you...is your head hurting?

Demi: kinda, but I'll be fine

Nick: let me get some ice for that head of yours (he stood up and walked into another room of the house. I stood up carefully and followed him) here (he gave it to me and I put it in my head)

Demi: you don't know how grateful I am for everything you do for me.

Nick: it's okay, I would've killed him if he did something else to you...I was afraid to lose you

Demi: don't worry, I'm right here (I said and he nodded before covering his face with his hands)

Nick: I imagined a life without you and it was a nightmare (he said under his hands and I knew he was crying)

Demi: Nick...hey (I walked to him and uncovered his face to see his red puffy eyes and rosy cheeks wet from crying)

Nick: I'm sorry, I'm such a weak person (he chuckled and shook his head before looking to the floor)

Demi: no, you're not weak (I cupped his face with my hands and dried his tears with my thumbs)

It was making my heart hurt to see someone that worried for me. I don't think someone has ever been like this for me, ever.

Demi: I'm here, right? We both are here together and that's what matters...

Nick: I don't ever wanna lose you Demi (he hugged me close to his chest and caressed my head while I buried my head in his neck)

Demi: I won't go anywhere Nick, I promise

Nick: nobody will ever hurt you again, I swear (I kissed his cheek and hugged him again)

Demi: thank you (I whispered and he pulled me even closer to his body)

Nick: you should go to rest (he said caressing my cheek after pulling away from me)

Demi: what about you?

Nick: I'll go with you, don't worry (he grabbed my hand sending an electric wave to my whole body and we got to a bedroom for two people with a big bed in the middle) it's nothing fancy but we'll be fine here, away from everyone

Demi: thank you...I should tell everyone I'm okay

Nick: just sleep, I'll do it for you

Demi: sure? (He nodded and kissed my forehead after I laid in bed)

Nick: I'll be back in some minutes

Demi: I'll wait for you
