DEMI P.O.V.: I sighed in Nick's neck and walked away from him. My phone started ringing and I took the call.

Demi: Scooter

Scooter: hello, how was everything?

Demi: it was fine, they told me to ask for a couple things and I did it

Scooter: rumors are flying all over the internet, you should say something that motivates people to believe and support you

Demi: umm okay

Scooter: can you do it alone? I can always tell someone to do it

Demi: no, don't worry...I think I can do it alone (I glanced at Nick and saw him looking through the window to the backyard) there's something else I'd like to talk with you later..something important

Scooter: okay, I'm free whenever you need me now

Demi: thanks, I'll talk to you later then

Scooter: okay, are you gonna stay with someone at home?

Demi: yea, don't worry. I'm not alone

Scooter: great, I gotta go, be safe, bye

Demi: bye (he hang up on me and I sat on the sofa)

Nick: everything alright?

Demi: yes, I just have to do a post telling a part of the story so everyone believes in me and support me as well

Nick: that'll be easy, a lot of people loves you and women will be instantly on your side

I wrote my caption and posted it after sighing.

ddlovato Today was my turn, tomorrow may be that of your sister, your mom or your friend. We never know when or if we will ever have to go through something like that. I know that the rumors and news about my case are already in every network, I have no opportunity to read all the support you are sending me, I won't give statements or interviews on the subject until the judicial process is concluded. Nick: it's perfect. I'm proud of you (he wrapped an arm around me after sitting next to me and sighed) I still can't understand why didn't you tell me he was violent or abusive sometimes

Demi: I loved him with my whole heart and I knew if I told you about it, you'd want me to break up with him and keep me away from him...and you would've been right, but I loved him too much to walk away from him (he nodded)

Nick: I think it makes sense in a way, but still...he's a jerk

Demi: now I know (he cleared his throat)

Nick: I don't think this is the right moment but I'm not sure we're gonna have a peace moment for a couple days so I feel like doing it now

Demi: doing what? (He sat straight and held my hand)

Nick: I'm sorry. I know my apologize never came after everything happened. I know I didn't visit you on the hospital. I know I didn't invite you to my wedding. I know I never showed support to you when you achieved great things...I'm sorry, Phil's been being my neck all these past months waiting for me to duck everything up by talking to you and earn more money for it. But I know excuses aren't working anymore...I'm sorry I left you when you needed me the most, I wasn't able to just stand there and watch you not get help and die, I'm sorry, when everything happened I remember wanting desperately to run to you and hug you and never be away from you again but I was a coward. Phil only let us put a tweet so fans could calm down. I'm sorry for every fucking thing I did, I'm an idiot, a pig, the worst person of the world probably but it wasn't my intention to hurt you that way. I'm so so sorry Demi (he said and his voice cracked giving me a hint that he was crying. He looked to the floor and I saw a tear collide to his jeans)

Demi: hey it's okay...we both made mistakes, I pushed you away too, I cut our tide too, I didn't reach for you neither, I never said sorry to you for how I hurt you. My overdose affected you too and I never talked to you about it. I'm sorry Nick, I'm sorry too. I'm so sorry we let our friendship turn into that mess. (I let go of his hand to dry my tears but then caressed the back of his head) but we're here now, we're together now...and it's time to look forward to our future and not the past, it's passed already. (He nodded and I hugged him tightly)

Nick: you're always the strong one of us (I chuckled and he kissed my cheek before hugging me again)

Demi: I try to be strong for you

Nick: thank you

Demi: anytime (he smiled sweetly and the doorbell rang breaking the moment)

Nick: waiting for someone? (I shook my head)

Demi: my whole family is out of town

Nick: Wilmer? (I shook my head shaking a little bit cause I was already scared and he walked with me to the door. He grabbed my hand and put me behind him as he looked through the screen) Joe? (He whispered)

Demi: Joe?

Nick: yea, it's him (he opened the door and Joe entered quickly closing the door behind him)

Joe: that was wild, paps are getting brave (he sighed and I smiled at him) hey you

Demi: hey (he hugged me tightly and kissed my cheek before turning to Nick)

Joe: I think we need to talk

Nick: about?

Joe: Kevin called me telling me Phil kicked us off because of you...and then Phil called me and confirmed it

Nick: okay (he said after sighing)

Demi: you can sit here, I'll bring us something to drink (they nodded)

Joick: thanks (I disappeared into the kitchen when they sat in the sofa)
