Blaise's Pov
I blinked a few times before squinting against th light of the hospital wing. 'Damn, I thought it was a dream!' I thought to myself as I sat up. "Granger?" I asked, the brown haired girl sitting on the bed opposite me. "Oh, Zabini. I didn't realize you were awake. I'll go then." She said nonchalantly and before I could answer she was out the door. "Might as well go too." I sighed and carefully jumped off the bed, swaying a bit when I hit the floor. I walked slowly to Slytherin common room and checked the time on the watch in my trunk. "It's already 5!" I shouted. I looked out the window and saw that the sun was indeed setting. Then it hit me. Why aren't I the size of a giraffe anymore?! Just in case I was having delusions, I looked at myself in the full body mirror that was propped up on the mint wall and sighed in relief.
"Maybe Draco and Pansy have answers." I said to myself before running out of the common room and towards the library. I smiled when I saw them seated at a table in the corner and, with a great thump, sat next to them which scared them both.
"Blaise? You should be in the hospital wing!" Pansy snapped. "I feel fine, I'm not big anymore, everythings ok." I said reassuringly. "No it's not! You're still a-a half-giant and-"Pansy stammered but Draco cut in." There are side affects, Blaise." He said. I perused my lips and furrowed my eyebrows." What side affects?"
" The fact that you could grow out of anger." He whispered. My face went blank.......shit. "And we well know how quickly it takes for you to get angry." Pansy sneered. This is bad. Curse my anger management! "It's fine, I've been working on it." I said.
Pansy and Draco both gave me funny looks. "No you haven't." Pansy chuckled. "No I have not." I repeated.
"Let's not think about this now, here's the work you missed." Draco said changing the subject. I smiled graciously at him before Pansy explained it to me and we sat in the library for the next two hours.Ron's Pov
"RON!" I heard Hermione shouting to me from the top of the school. I looked up. Harry had just helped me find a dear to eat, it was really weird but it did the job. "Hey Mione." I said.
She walked into the shadow of the trees and took out a black and maroon cloth which I immediately recognized as Gryffindor robes. "Thanks." I smiled, she smiled back and I put the robe on. I had to use Harry's cause we had to walk in the sun to get to the forest. Over Hagrid's hut, we could see the sun setting and on the opposite side the moon was rising. "Ow!" I grunted. The scars on my neck were throbbing painfully and I fell to the floor. "Ron?" Harry called. I started heaving and was gripping my neck, hoping that somehow it would stop. When the pain stopped, I stood up slowly and Hermione and Harry gaped. "Ron! You're back to normal." Hermione grinned, flabbergasted. I reached up and pulled my hair to it was in front of my eyes. It was ginger again. The looked at my skin, it was tan again and I was pretty sure my eyes were blue. I grinned and looked up at the sky." Hold on." Harry muttered. He strode towards me and without warning put his hand on my chest. "Am I still-"
"Yeah, sorry Ron." He sighed. I sighed as well, letting my head fall. After a while we walked up the lawn and into the castle. I couldn't help but close my eyes and lick my lips a little when I smelt the intoxicating smell of chicken, sugar cookies and shoe polish. Hermione linked her arm around mine and her other around Harry and we walked to the Great Hall for dinner. A few people smiled at me, asked if I was ok, gave me high-fives and I got a hug from Ginny and Neville. After the whole thing concerning my.....my death, I was feeling a few fractions better. Except there was something bothering me. It's like it was pulling my stomach somehow. It was like an itch I couldn't reach. I started getting tense as I sat down in between Harry and Seamus. I looked around the table at the delicious food. I was about to pile my plate with rolls and a bowl of soup when I realized I can't eat. A wave of depression wafted over me but immediately subsided when a flask popped onto the table in front of me. The flask was maroon and had gold stripes to make it look like the Gryffindor scarves. In the center of the flask, it had my name on is in golden letters. I opened the latch and drank, licking the animal blood off my lips when I was satisfied. I put the empty flask down and looked around. As usual, the hall was full of students and teachers chatting away.
I looked at the Ravenclaw table and smiled at Cho and Luna, then to the Hufflepuff table where Hannah Abott waved at me, then to the Slytherin table. I scanned over it before my eyes stopped and I just stared, for some reason, at the back of Zabini's head. Then the smell hit me again and I slapped myself mentally. "Ron, you ready?" Harry asked as him and Hermione got up from their seats. "Y-yeah, I'm just gonna, finish this." I muttured to them, motioning to the flask. It was empty, but they didn't need to know that. "Alright, you know where to find us." After a few minutes of laughing with Neville, Seamus and Dean I left the Great Hall. I wasn't sleepy at all so I decided to take a walk around the school. Letting my legs lead me wherever they did. I was walking along a corridor on the 5th floor when I heard a muffled voice.
I slowed my pace and peeked my head from the corner of the corridor.
In the the corridor I was looking into, I saw a tall, dark figure dancing around whilst singing. I strained my ears to listen but they were too far away to hear. Then it happened again.
I couldn't hear anything, see anything or feel anything except for the squirming, itching feeling in my chest and stomach and I felt the urge to walk.
I took a step before-"Weasley."
"Gaaah! Malfoy!""What are you doing?" He snapped. The distant singing stopped and I regained control if my body. "Taking a walk." I replied. He glared at me for a few seconds before sneering. "Mmmhmm." He hummed before turning on his heal and walking towards the tall, dark figure that was further away, becoming a tall dark figure himself. "I'm sorry about him." Parkinson said, I didn't even notice she was next to me. I didn't get a chance to reply cause she was gone before I could even open my mouth.
Why is that happening so much lately?! I walked back to the Gryffindor common room and into the boys dormitory. I lay my head on the pillow and somehow, even though I was feeling very much energetic, slipped into a not so dreamless sleep.
