"I think it's a footprint."

°Earlier That Day°

"Ugh! I can't believe it!" Blaise sighed, Pansy and Draco following him out of the greenhouse. "Oh come on, Blaise. And 'Acceptable' isn't too bad." Pansy tried to reassure. "It's terrible! The only reason Professor McGonagall let us come back this year is if we got mostly 'Outstanding'." Blaise said, rubbing his nose. "Did you ask Sprout to retake the test?" Draco finally spoke. "Yep, she said no." Blaise said, now massaging his temples. They turned a corridor and were now closing in on the Great Hall. The three walked in comfortable silence before a distant whistle sounded through the corridor. Ignoring it, the three continued and didn't stop when a voice spoke. "Ooo, look what we have here. The great Malfoy, Parkinson and Zabini." The voice said. Without looking back, Pansy snapped, "What do you want McLaggen?"
"I just wanted you all to know that you all look great, especially you Zabini~" Cormac jeered. "And what is that supposed to mean?" Blaise asked,
the three of them still hadn't stopped walking. Cormac ran up to catch up with them until he was level with Draco. "Have you not seen that thing!?" Cormac asked mockingly motioning behind them. Blaise rolled his eyes and Cormac's goons chuckled. Pansy swear she saw Blaise's eyes glaze over black. "You know Zabini, that arse of yours would look good on my-ARGH!" Cormac fell to the floor, holding tightly to his bleeding nose. "Say that again McLaggen I DARE YOU!" Blaise shouted, shaking his stinging fist. "Blaise-" Draco whispered. Cormac was now standing, lifting his robes to cover his nose. "You will be mine, Zabini. I'll make sure of it." He snapped. "You're hilarious." Blaise chortled before lifting his leg and kicking Cormac right in the-"Blaise!"
"WHAT?!"
"Your eyes are black!" Draco hissed, ignoring Cormac who was clutchimg his painful dick. "I know that! My eyes are naturally dark!" Blaise snapped. "No, your irises are black and so is the white part of your eyes!" Draco hissed again. Blaise blinked. He ran towards the window and looked at his reflection. Pansy and Draco waited behind him. "I need air, that's it." Blaise said, a worried smile on his face. He was sweating and he felt dizzy. "Be careful." Pansy warned and Blaise nodded before turning in his heal, huntching his bag over his shoulder and walking away. "Oh will you stop it!" Blaise heard Pansy shout, quickly followed by the sound of a slap and something stumbling back.
Blaise practicality ran out of the Entrance Hall and into the misty school grounds. He felt himself growing, causing him to run faster.  His shirt ripped and he was soon the size of a short oak tree. He practically threw himself into the darkness of the forest just as the growing seemed to quicken. He ran deep into the forest, the growing making it harder to run. Once he had reached his full hight he crouched to be level with the trees which was the worst possible thing he could've done at that moment. He tripped on a tree stump, yelped in surprise before plummeting towards the ground, which, from his current hight was really far away.

"What do you mean a footprint?!" Ron shrieked. Hermione pulled Harry and Ron towards her for a better look. "See-" She said pointing to the hole. "You don't think it was Grawp, do you?" Harry asked, fiddling with his collar."No,this foot obviously had shoes on. Look." Hermione stated. "No foot it that perfectly shaped and there aren't any gaps between the toes." She said. "Uh, guys!" Ron called. He was standing in front of a tree with a few broken branches. "What is it?" Harry asked, walking over to him, Hermione high on his heels. Ron turned around and held up a torn, white piece of fabric that resembled the type of fabric they were all wearing under their robes. "Oh my gosh!" Hermione gasped, covering her hand with her mouth. "I think I found something else!" Harry said. He knelt down and picked up and torn dress shoe."This.....
....thing, is a student!" Hermione shouted. "What size?" Ron asked Harry out of the blue. Hermione gave him a disapproving look. "Eight men's." Harry said reading the back of the shoe. "Great! All we have to do now is look for guy in Hogwarts with size eight feet and a missing shoe." The red-head cheered happily. "No, we can't. Whoever this is probably lost their other shoe not too far away from here." Hermione cut in. Ron rolled his eyes and shrugged. "I guess we just have to follow the trail of clothes." Harry sighed. Ron and Hermione nodded before following Harry who occasionally spotted a piece of robe. "Guys!" Harry shouted from the front once again. The others ran up to catch up with him. Harry slowly turned around and held up too things. A sliver ring encrusted with  emerald gems and a Slytherin tie. Hermione gasped and examined the tie with Harry whilst Ron took the ring and stared at hit hardly. "I've seen this before somewhere." He whispered. Hermione and Harry turned to face him with shock. "Do you remember where?" The raven haired boy asked and Ron shook his head. "It's so familiar but-"
A twig broke somewhere behind them and they all slowly turned around. They heard a muffled 'SHH!', then a shriek that scared them all. Malfoy scrambled out from behind a bush, screaming and brushing his robes off.
When he realized that he was being watched he blushed, stood up and pulled a reluctant Parkinson out of the bush. "Potter" He sneered. "Malfoy" Harry said with just as much malice.
"Where is Zabini?" Ron asked out of the blue, noticing that it was only the two of them. "Common room." Parkinson said immediately, brushing a leaf out of her hair. "What are you doing here?" Malfoy asked, a sneer still evident on his face. "I was just about to ask you the same thing." Harry replied. The three of them stared at the two Slytherins before Hermione stepped forward and spoke. "If you must know, we think something's happened to a student." She said, holding up the tie. Parkinson and Malfoy both gasped, but as they all had their eyes fixed on the tie, Ron carefully slipped the ring into his pocket. "Well, do you have any idea who's this might be?" Hermione inquired the two. Malfoy stared at her with his eyes narrowed before sparing a quick glance at Parkinson.
" I'll see in the Slytherin common room if anyone's lost a tie. Now, if you don't mind we have somewhere to be." He said, taking Parkinson by the arm and trudging past the Gryffindors. "Where are you going?" Ron asked, glaring at the two.
"I don't see how that's any of your business." Parkinson spat before walking off. Harry and Ron looked at each other before nodding. "Wait, are we actually going to follow them?" Hermione whispered.

"Definitely-"
