Need You Now

I really didn't know what was happening. One minute I was on the floor and the next I'm towering over everybody. My body feels like fire and all I saw was red. My head and fingertips were throbbing for some reason and everything seemed to move as I moved, as if every step I took something would wobble. I heard people leaving the Great Hall and started walking faster which was not a good idea. I face planted onto the ground and yelped when I felt someone pull me up. "Shut up for a second will you." Another person said."Pansy? Draco? What happened?" I asked. I really don't know what's going on. "Hold on hun." Pansy whispered and they led me into an abandoned classroom in the dungeons. "Pansy, get Ron. His eyes are still black." Draco murmured to Pansy before she sprinted out of sight. "Dray? What happened?" I heaved and he pulled me into a hug. "I'll explain, but we need you to calm down before it happens again." He said and I hugged him tighter. I was really freaking out. Everything just seemed so blurry. "Blaise?" I heard Ron whispered and I relaxed a bit. I didn't notice I had been shaking until he pulled me into a hug. "Jeez, you're boiling!" He exclaimed. "Sorry, I'm greeting off track. Blaise, I need you to calm down." Ron said, looking me square in the eyes. "I-I can't. I don't know what's happening. What did I do?" I asked hesitantly. "That doesn't matter. Come with me." He said taking my hand and leading me out if the classroom. Pansy and Draco soon following. "We'll be in the common room if you need us." Pansy said and Ron nodded. We walked up to the Astronomy Tower and I stared at him. My body was no longer feeling like fire but I was still shaking. "Can you play something for me?" Ron asked suddenly, bringing me out of my thoughts. "I don't have anything to play with." I said and he furrowed his eyebrows before smiling and taking out his wand. "Accio Blaise's guitar!" He said and there was silence for a few seconds before a window broke somewhere and my guitar flew into view, nearly hitting Ron in the stomach.
He handed it to me and I stared down at it. The guitar was white with gold patterns on the edges with my name written in gold at the very bottom. It had been a Christmas present from Narcissa when Draco, Pansy and I were fourteen. I still cherish it to this day.
I sat down on the railing, making sure I didn't fall to my death and positioned the instrument. I played a few chords before settling on Need You Now by Lady Antebellum. I played the intro and out of habit, started singing. My eyes closed as the music took me in.

"Picture perfect memories, scattered all around the floor.

Reaching for the phone cause I can't fight it anymore."

I opened my eyes in shock when Ron started singing with me, his voice much deeper then mine.

"And I wonder if I, ever cross your mind. For me it happens all the time.

It's a quarter after one, I'm all alone and I need you now. I said I wouldn't call but I lost all control and I need you know.

And I don't know how I can do without, I just need you know."

I played and he started singing the seconds verse, I chimed in before the chorus and we harmonized beautifully, cold mist passing past out lips as we breathed. As we sang the last chorus I jumped of the railing and started playing and singing with him whilst standing.

"I just need you now."

We finished the song and I stood my guitar against the railing and pulled him into a kiss. I felt like my body was in fire again but this time it warmed me instead of burning and my heart beat faster with each movement of his lips on mine. There was a clap from the the stairs soon followed by multiple claps at once. I froze and so did Ron. I slowly turned my head to see Harry, Hermione, Pansy, Draco and.......Madam Pomfrey and Professor McGonagall? My eyes widened in shock and I tripped and almost fell on literally nothing. "I didn't know you could sing." Professor McGonagall exclaimed happily and I blushed, thanking Merlin for my darker complexion. "Ah, Mr Zabini. That's what I wanted to talk to you about." Said Madam Pomfrey warily, pointing to my fingers which were emmiting bright yellow flames that I had not noticed. If possible my eyes windened further and I jumped. "What's happening?!" I screamed and she hesitated, walking towards me.
"It's your special ability."
