You know the laughs in the background of shows, such as the Big Band Theory, iCarly, Dog With a Blog, those kind of shows? You hear them when someone says something funny and nobody in the show is laughing, but it sounds like an audience of adults is laughing.
Well, they are adults, and a great majority of those laughs were recorded in the 1950s.
This technically means you are just listening to dead people laughing.
