In the end, I spent the morning with Ming.  I only had one class this morning, and I had already missed it.
Ming is destroyed, I had never seen him like that.  Well, only once, four years ago, the day his mother left. He was broken.

I don't understand why Kit sent this message, especially since recently I thought he was starting to appreciate Ming...  I saw him blush when Ming walked by, and caught him smiling at his phone.

So I decide to send a message to Beam asking for his opinion.
Since he is with Forth, beam was no longer cold with me.  I understand, if someone had been close to phana I would also ...  wayo, don't. Stop it. Take it back.  He is not your soul mate.
Anyway, let's focus.

I take my phone and write the text.

To P'Beam:
[ hi P'Beam it's wayo!  Could we see each other this morning?  It's pretty urgent.  I am at the engineering faculty]

I had a response almost instantly.

From P'Beam:
[hello yo, are you all right?  I'm with Forth not far away, can we meet in the cafeteria?]

To Beam:
[perfect. I am coming right away]

Since Ming came back to his class, I am going alone to the cafeteria, entering and sit at an isolated table.  I order a coffee and wait for beam.  A few minutes later, I see Beam and Forth go in,  holding hands and sit in front of me.

"sorry yo, Forth didn't want to let go of me ..."

I laugh while Forth's face turns slightly pink

"hey beamie!"

"oh I'm kidding! " He kisses him on his cheek and turns to me smiling widely while forth puts his head on his neck, all embarrassed

"could you please stop dripping love in front of poor singles like me!

"if you want, I can call phana and you won't be single for long.. " He said wiking

I'm sure I'm as red as a tomato.  I decide to change the subject.

"I need to talk to you about Kit.  And Ming"

His smile immediately fades.

"Oh ..."

" Ming was crying this morning because of a pretty violent message from Kit, and given your reaction, I guess you know something."

I show him a copy of the message I saved on my phone.  He is surprised, a sign that he has not heard of it

"I don't know much, just that kit is not very good at the moment.  He didn't want to tell me anything but I caught him mumbling insults towards Ming, even if I didn't understand everything."

- I see, when was it?

- uh ... About two days ago?  He kept looking at his phone like he was waiting for a message, and sighed afterwards.

- I see ... Ming broke his phone, maybe that's why ... But that still doesn't explain the violence of the message

- I know ... I'll find out then.

- thank you very much

I was about to get up but Forth is holding my arm

- wait ... I have a question for you ... Several actually.

Intrigued, I sat down

- OK Go ahead

- um ... I'm almost sure I didn't tell you anything about Beam ... Well, the fact that I was in love, He glances at Beam who smirks, looking away.
How did you know ?  I'm sure there is something off..

For a moment I hesitate.  Should I tell him?  After all, why not.  They could help me.  And with phana too

- promise me to keep it a secret.  Don't tell anyone what I'm going to tell you, especially not phana

Surprised, they look at each other and nod at the same time

- we swear, nong yo.

- So, here's the thing. Since childhood, I have an ... Ability.  I can see the soul mates of every humans, those who are meant for one another. I recognize them through there color.

I start to explain to them what I know about my gift, how I lived my life, the colors etc.

- I don't understand what it has to do with us.  Forth says.

I am surprised that they believe me.  Even if I see a certain reluctance in their eyes.

I smile and watch their hands entwined on the table.  It is in these moments that I am happy to have this gift.

- I lied. You never told me, but I guessed it.  And I wanted to give you two a boost

After a few seconds of silence, Forth reacts

- you mean that ... Beam and me ...?

- Yes.  You are soul mates.
