Summoned

"Um, What?" I was utterly confused. Why the hell was a demon in my bedroom greeting me like some old-timey gentleman?

"Um (Y/N)," I replied, trying not to sound like an idiot and failing miserably. Great, I had a real-life demon in front of me and he probably thought he had gotten summoned by the biggest idiot on the entire planet. Fucking fantastic.

Straightening back up, Alastor fixed me with that red gaze of his, "It's a pleasure to meet you, (Y/N). You asked me to show myself and here I am."

"I thought you were some spirit trapped in this realm because of unfinished business!" I said defensively, crossing my arms.

"You asked who I was," Alastor looked thoroughly amused, "And I told you."

"You broke up your sentence so much it was hard to understand!" I retorted. Was this demon really going to argue with me on how he was summoned?

"Look," I sighed, "It was an accident, so you can go back to hell or wherever it was that you came from. I need to go back to bed. I have to be at work early tomorrow."

Alastor's grin got impossibly wider than I would have thought possible as he replied, "That's not how this works. You summoned me, and here I am."

"Then I un-summon you," I said, sitting down on my bed.

"That's not how this works either," Alastor chuckled, "But by all means, go back to sleep. We can talk about this in the morning." Then with a snap of his fingers, the radio demon dissolved into a cloud of black mist that evaporated without a sound.
