Chapter 25: Ashigaru with a fever?! Midori takes the role as a doctor!

"I'm going to earn it-garu, no matter what-garu...." Ashigaru vowed as she looked at the moon from Midori's window. "Even if it takes me all night-garu...."

Midori woke up to the sound of coughing the following day. "Huh?"

She rubbed her eyes as she stood up. "Ashigaru is something wrong?" Turning around she saw Ashigaru's face was completely red as she coughed.

"Sorry-garu....I think I'm getting sick or I'm already-garu..." She hiccuped loudly.

"I see.....I am a certified animal doctor, but I don't know how to treat a fairy....." Aoi concluded a few hours later as she checked her temperature.

"Did you stay up too late? Maybe it's just fatigue....."

"I did-garu.....I'm sorry-garu...." She hung her head in shame.

"I'll take care of her." Midori concluded with sheer amount of determination.

"I may not know a lot, but I want to try."

"Master-garu......"

"Alright. Make sure you watch her in case she gets worse."

"Roger!" Midori saluted at her and Ashigaru's heart melted.

The remainder of the day Midori didn't leave her side for anything.

"We're going out to play some volleyball you want to join?"

"We're going shopping! want to come?"

She continued to get messages from her friends and classmates, but she declined every single one.

"No, sorry I'm busy, you guys go on ahead...."

"Master it's my fault you can't go out-garu....."

"I don't mind." Midori smiled as she flicked her forehead. "I get to spend more time with you either way."

"I get to spend more time with you either way." A male voice said as he patted Ashigaru's head in a flashback.

"Huh?" Ashigaru blinked from her daze as Midori stood up.

"I'll be right back. I'm going to get a new towel and some water."

Ashigaru nodded slowly as Midori took the old towel and bowl away.

She really is my master, reborned.....

"I'm back! Sorry I took too long....." She opened the door with her spare hand as she laughed.

"Now what were you saying-----------"

Ashigaru shook her head as Midori felt her forehead. "Your getting warmer. Why don't you lie down a bit?" She tucked Ashigaru in. "I'll be here in case you need anything, I won't move a muscle.

Ashigaru laid down as Midori sat on the ground, before long she fell asleep, Midori still kept watch.

"Aren't you going with your friends?" Reo said as Midori shushed him. "Sorry....."

"I can't. I have to watch Ashigaru....."

"But she's fine.....you don't need to be so overreactive.....I don't think she could get any worse....."

"She's my partner for crying out loud. I don't want to leave her side, especially not now, she's relying on me when even I still don't know why she picked me of all people.....But I want to be her master......I want her as my partner..." She patted her head.

"So I'll make sure she's perfectly fine."

Reo nodded as he walked to the door. "It makes sense why Sora chose you as a Precure." He left as Midori looked at Ashigaru.
