Two sparks of light continuely slammed into each other as they whizzed past. A few curious children stopped their playing and stared at the two lights in crossfire but were quickly ushered away by their families. It was not a good idea to be outside at this time, for they knew why.

The two lights continued to shove and slam into each other, followed by a glow of pure white that balanced the scene before them. It went on for a few more minutes before the lights finally gave out and fell to the ground in a heap.

The three lights were completely exhausted as they had never fought against each other before. The training they had down with Sanji at school had only been simple fighting motions and quick self defense. Even a few hours ago had only consisted in strengthening their civilian bodies not their cure forms. "Wow....that was so...."

"Refreshing?" Katana finished for Ninja. They all nodded. "Ready for round two?"
"Yes!" Ninja and Honor recited in unison at the thought of being able to get stronger. As they continued to blast and attack on another in training Reina smiled softly. It was a nostalgic feeling from long ago. Walking with her scepter in hand to help her walk she turned to see the trio who had been meditating and she smiled. "Everyone. I miss you...."

Ai opened one eyes as she realized Reina was staring right at them, eyes moist. "What's the matter? Is something wrong--------" She and the others were quickly sprayed with water. Yumie gasped and looked at the person who had caused her to get wet. "Ai! Why did you stop?" She sounded irritated then saw Reina. "Maybe you all should stop." Kneeling down she broke the spell from the water and they all sat up, happy to be free from meditating.

''It's nothing Akemi. Just thinking." She replied, Ai nodded slowly. The others didn't mind Reina using their ancestor's names. It must be painful to see the only thing left of her friends who she had been forced to outlive. It wouldn't be surprising if they also had adventures and eternal bonding just like Hisako, Midori, Moe, Ayano, and Sora had. Losing Midori and Ayano had shattered them, how could they compare to Reina who had lost her friends and even the many queen partners she had shared her power with in her eight hundred years? This was the little thing they could give her. The relief that she was speaking to her friends.

''Do you really think we really can help?" Runa asked softly. "I mean I know we can, but we can't fight as hard as Hisako, Moe, or Sora. All we can do is support them from the sidelines since we're not really cures." Reina knelt beside her. "Yamada always the worrywart. Everything will be alright. You all did it once remember? You can do it again. It's fate."

"But we had everyone with us....." Yumie tried not to panic. "It was easy......Now it's not.....we're training, but is it really worth it? They're gone.......they're not here anymore.....will we be sacrificing our comrades in order to survive?"

''Kasumi....."

"No matter how messed up things get, you can always figure out the best solution-garu." Ashigaru exclaimed. "When people are faced with a situation they don't understand, it's easy for fear to take hold. We all, every one of us, carry a star inside our chests. Light and darkness are always side-by-side. If you show even the slightest fear or tears to the darkness, it will immediately swell and come attacking....and swallow up the light.'' A vision of a happy Midori appeared in her head. She was always smiling, always happy. She hid her true feelings with that smile and bottled her emotions inside her.

"Ever since I became Coordinator, I've had people dying on me everyday. But you understand, don't you? One day or another, everyone you care about eventually dies. It's something we simply can't accept. It's a realization that could drive you insane." Reina added as she stood up before them all.

''In order to defeat the darkness and dark souls, we must keep the star inside our chests burning brightly at all times. That is the most important change.'' Katana repeated. As Ninja and Honor came into view.
