Of course, my best friend knows everything about me. I never kept any secrets from her aside from my feelings. Jennie knows the group I built and the things I do behind my facade as a corporate owner and a businesswoman.

However, I never let her interfere or get involved with it, she's been always against it, she keeps saying I won't get anything from it, other than put myself in danger. But I'm not asking anything in return when I do the things I do, she'll never going to understand me, because she doesn't know the fear I have.

I heaved.

Closing my eyes, as I took a deep breath.

I can't imagine losing someone really important to me. If I'm overprotective back then, so what more now that I have someone I deeply care about, that I can't afford losing?

So I won't stop doing this, I would never stop until I make sure there's no more threat like you lurking around.

I opened my eyes and glared at the man in front of me.

"You shouldn't be doing things like that. I thought you respect her. But why would you hurt her like that?"

I uttered. Looking straight into his eyes, searching for answers.

But Kai appeared to be baffled with my question. Did he forget what he just did to her at her own office?

"What are you talking about?"

He asked that made my eyebrow arched up. Getting irritated with his sudden amnesia.

I smirked.

"It looks like taking advantage of girls is something normal to you. That you don't remember doing it. Because it's not a big deal."

I replied as I stood back up leaving him on the floor.

But then he started laughing at me. My hands balled as I tried to calm myself.

"Taking advantage? Is that what you think I did to her?"

He pushed his self up and standing back on his feet facing me with furrowing brows.

"Have you forgotten I'm her boyfriend? And fucking my girlfriend is not something you should care about. It's not like I care if you fuck your little girlfriend, so why are you making that a big deal?"

He snorted. "Oh wait, maybe you have a kink of watching people fuck. Do you want me to fuck your girlfriend as well?"

My eyes widened.

And my ears deafening from the loud ringing.

And the next thing I realized. I was already holding my gun. And pointing it at him.

My teeth gritted.

"Don't even think about laying your filthy hands on her, or I'm gonna fucking kill you."

I mumbled, as my jaw clenched.

He turned mute, but still dare to glare at me. "Say another word about my girlfriend, and I swear I will kill you."

I warned him, while putting my gun down.

"And we're talking about your ex-girlfriend. Because from what I know, that day you pinned her down on her couch, you two aren't together. Are you telling me that she's gonna let you fuck her after breaking up with you?"

I snickered, shaking my head.

"Yes, she is! Until you fucking showed up! And aggressively attacking me!"
