"Shit!! Get down!"

It was loud and clear and although I've heard him very clear, I still couldn't move. It was like my body was frozen where it was. I was standing in the midst of the living room with everything happening around me. I mean more gunshots were heard, glasses was shattering, the alarm of the house was going off (Very loud) and I just stood there frozen like a block of ice.

It's not that I couldn't move, we'll I mean that too but I think I was left very shocked by what was taking place. Like my brain went blank, my feet were just glued to the floor and the only thing I could do was breathe.

I was too shocked to move. I was scared and terrified. I just couldn't believe this was happening. It was an attack!! We were under attack and I'm about to die!

That was all I could think of, that I was gonna die. I just lost all my hope and trust in anyone or thing. This was it for me, this was the end and before I know it, a bullet is gonna hit me and I'll fall to the floor....dead! I don't-

"Ah!"

My thoughts were suddenly interrupted by someone tackling me to the ground and I yelped as I fell to the floor. And this was when I snapped out of everything.

"Are you f**king crazy? Do you want to die?!" a familiar voice yelled at me and I flinched. I dare not look at him at all...that was until we fell into silence. His face was very close to mine and his entire body was on to of mine, shielding me while one of his hands was holding my head up from hitting the floor.

His breath was literally fanning my face and when I said our face was very close to each other, I mean it.

My cheeks got a little red as my body began to beg for its personal space. I felt very uncomfortable and had nothing to say but decoded to apologize for just standing there. So I got a little confidence and looked at up to meet his eyes.
