~ Noona's POV ~

"You're being awfully quiet." He said breaking the silence between us.

I had been looking out the window since we got into the car, unable to really look at him. I didn't even know what to say back, so I didn't respond at all.

"Babe?"

Still nothing.

Honestly, I was too focused on not crying and keeping myself neutral to be able to actually form words.

"Are you acting this way because of what I said at dinner? Come on, you asked me to keep you motivated."

"Yeah but I didn't ask you to be a dick about it." I snapped back unable to keep it in. I was so hurt by the way he treated me...it was completely unnecessary.

"I wasn't being a dick. You know how bad pasta is, and you said you were going to try to do Keto and you've been doing well. I just wanted you to keep it up."

"That's not what I'm talking about and you know it."

"What? The dancing thing...come on..."

"Do you really think me dancing is that ridiculous?" I asked finally turning towards him. "It's dancing."

He had his right hand on the wheel, his left elbow on the driver's door with his head laying in the palm of his hand.

He sighed heavily and I swear I saw him roll his eyes. "Babe, I was just saying that the classes Jisoo takes are nearly pro classes. She's been doing it for a long time and she is smaller than you. Its not something everyone can do." He looked over at me, and all I could do was stare at him.

He does this all the time. He says something, and then later clarifies what he means. It doesn't make it hurt any less in that moment.

He sighed again, taking hold of the wheel with his left hand and moving his right hand to take my hand that I had laying in my lap.

"I didn't mean to upset you. Maybe if you start with a beginner class you can work your way up."

"Maybe." I replied looking back out the window. I did lace my fingers between his feeling a little better after he explained. I wish he would have just said that to begin with.

"Are you still upset with me?" He asked in a teasing voice.

"No." I replied, not in the mood to be teased.

"You sure as hell seem like it." He replied, his tone now annoyed.

I didn't say anything again and just looked down at our interlaced fingers. Looking at how loosely his hand was around mine and how tightly mine was around him made my chest sting.

"I'm not mad. I just wish that you would say what you mean the first time. Then I wouldn't feel shitty about myself, and then feel bad about taking what you say wrong later."

He shook my hand from his and resumed his driving with his right hand and his left arm leaning on the car. "Why do you insist on fighting every time we go on a double take with Yoongi and Jisoo? Seriously every time we go out with them we end up leaving angry at one another."

"No, you just get upset because Yoongi actually calls you out on the asshole things you say to me."

"And you take his side!" he replied raising his voice. "I'm your boyfriend. Me. Not Yoongi."

"Yoongi is my best friend, he is just looking out for me."

"Fuck that. I don't like the way he spoke to me." He said through his teeth. "And you just fucking sat there and let him be a dick. I'm your boyfriend, you should have told him that I was just trying to help you."
