Katya Pov:
After that date night a month ago things with Trixie have been amazing. We have fallen back into our old patterns but have now started really talking. Like the other day Trixie let me know she would appreciate it if I put my mug in the dishwasher instead of leaving it in the sink before work. And I've talked to her about leaving bobby pins everywhere. It's the little things that we are finally acknowledging.
Val and Judy are set to fly into Boston from Wisconsin this week. Trixie has been frazzled since they booked the plane ticket, cleaning to house and rearranging furniture. She even went as far as making us sleep on the pull out couch one night to make sure it was comfortable enough. It was sweet but also made me a little worried. I didn't want her to burn out before they even got here. It's not going to be easy having 4 people in the apartment. It fits 2 people extra comfortably but 4 feels like we may be pushing it. We do have an extra guest bedroom but it is full of Trixie's stuff for school. So we are left with 2 guests on the couch.
"Trixie they aren't here for another week, there is no point in cleaning the house yet. And it's also already clean." I said walking into the house. "Take a break babe." I placed a hand on Trixie's shoulder.
"Yeah, you're right, i'm just nervous." Trixie sighed flopping back into the couch.
"I know but we'll figure it out, I'll be here to help every step of the way." I assured Trixie. I placed my bags down and walked over to Trixie kissing her shoulder.
"Okay, I'll save my stress cleaning for the day before." Trixie giggled turning to look up at Me.

It was only hours before Judy and Val where set to arrive and Trixie was still cleaning. I did my best to try and help but it was no use. She had a plan set in her head that only she knew, a plan that she just couldn't spit out.
"Trix I'm gunna head out to the airpot to get Judes and your mom, you wanna come or do you need more time? I can stall, take the long way home and show them around the city a bit." I said walking over to the speaker Trixie set up. I turned down the music as I spoke so she could hear me.
"Oh shit you're going already! What time is it?" Trixie shot up from where she was kneeling on the floor wiping the baseboards.
"It's 4:00 pm, their plane landed about 20 minutes ago." I said daring to walk closer to her.
"okay hmmm I need like another hour? Can you stall a little please?" Trixie walked over to me closing the distance between us.
"No problem baby, I'll show them around a bit." I assured Trixie pecking her lips in a quick kiss.
"But don't show them around too much, I still want to take Judy out and show her stuff too." Trixie said holding my shoulders to stop me from leaving.
"Okay I'll just take the long way home through the industrial block, there's nothing to interesting in there." I squeezed Trixie shoulders nodding with her.
"Thank you so much." She pulled me in for a hug giving me a large squeeze. "You're the best girlfriend ever I love you." Trixie connected our lips in a sweet kiss. It wasn't quite a peck but it was also definitely not making out either.
"I love you too, I'll be back in an hour," I said with a fond smile. I gave Trixie's hand a squeeze before heading out, making sure to turn up the speaker again so ABBA went back to blasting through it. Trixie turned back to me and gave me a dopey smile before getting back to it.
