Finn's POV-
I'm kind of annoyed to go to school today.
I have to talk to the coach if he'll let me back on the football team.
Last year, and the beginning of this year I was on it but then I started getting bad grades so the coach told me I can't be on it until I get them up again.
I got some of my grades up by the help Gaten.
While I was eating my breakfast, Iris texted me to give her a ride to school.
I quickly finished eating my food, said bye to my parents and headed to my car to go pick up Iris.
Millie's POV-
I had a hard time falling asleep last night, I only got 5 hours of sleep.
I was so nervous to go to school, I slowly got up from my bed leaving my warm covers.
I went to the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror, "You can do this", I said to myself.
I then brushed my teeth then curled my hair.
I put on a white shirt and jeans, then some light makeup.
I then grabbed my phone and my backpack, and headed downstairs.
"Good morning mills" Ava said.
"Good morning Ava, where's mom?" I said.
"She's still getting ready to take me to school" she said.
I nodded and grabbed an apple and went outside to go to Sadie's car.
"Good morning mills, how do you feel about going to school today?" she said.
"I think I'm ready," I said.
Finn's POV-
When I got to school with Iris I told her I'll see her later because I need to talk to the coach about football.
She nodded and pecked me in the cheek and walked off.
While I was opening my locker I saw Joseph also opening his locker across from me.
Then Millie came out of nowhere then walked up to him and slapped him in the face.
"You are such an asshole" she said with a mad and sad tone with her eyes starting to tear up.
Everyone then started crowding around them.
"I'm so sorry Millie, please forgive me I was drunk I didn't know what I was saying or doing" he said.
"No! I'm done with you" she said.
She then wiped her tears and walked through the students.
Joseph seemed like he didn't really care.
Millie's POV-
I told Sadie I'll see her later as she went to her first class.
I then saw Joseph opening his locker, and in that moment all my anger got in control over me.
The next second all I knew was that I slapped him.
I told him off while I was about to cry.
I'm glad that I got to tell him what he really is.
I was wiping my tears in the bathroom stall when I heard the door open.
I thought it was Sadie, but I then recognized strong scent of perfume.
"Wow Millie didn't expect you to do that big girl move".
Then I realized it was Iris.
I opened the stall door to face her "Iris, why do you even care?" I said to her.
"I don't care about your dumb relationship, I just wanted to tell you that you were so pathetic to stand up to Joseph acting like the bigger person in the situation" she said in a teasing voice.
I felt like punching her right in that moment.
She then walked near the mirror and took out her red lipstick to reapply.
"Whatever Iris, it's none of your business anyways" I said.
She then abruptly stopped applying the lipstick looking shocked and gave me a nasty look.
I then walked out of the bathroom.
Finn's POV-
It was lunchtime, and I saw Iris walking up to me looking mad.
"That bitch Millie talked back to me in the bathroom, like who does she think she is, no wonder Joseph cheated on her and talked bad about her" she said.
She was making such a big deal out of it.
"Iris, calm down she's already having to deal with enough" I said.
"Are you defending that brat?" she asked.
"No, just don't listen to what she says".
She slowly nodded as we went in line to get our lunch seeing Noah, Caleb, and Gaten there as well.
"Dude! Did you see Millie slap Joseph, that was awesome!" Caleb said, as Iris rolled her eyes.
"Um, yeah" I said sarcastically as Iris was eyeing me.
Millie's POV-
Before lunch I need to go to my locker for a book for a class I had.
The hallways were empty, students were either in their classes or at lunch.
When I opened my locker and a folded note fell out of it.
I opened it up and it said "Every boy in this school would honestly cheat on your ass".
As I was reading it ,I felt rage come over me again, I crumpled the note about to throw it out.
But then I realized I know who wrote this.
I opened the doors to the cafeteria and walked over to Joseph.
"You're a jerk for writing this, what the hell is wrong with you!" I said.
He looked confused, "Millie, I didn't write that" he said.
"Yeah right like I'm supposed to believe you" I scoffed.
"I swear it wasn't me" he said.
"You know what, whatever just stop lying already, haven't you hurt me enough?" I said as I grabbed the note from his hand and left the cafeteria.
