A week had gone by and Millie and Finn seemed pretty okay with each other.
Whenever they saw each other in the hallway they just waved.
Finn was still confused about the note he got.
Why would someone write that? He decided not to think much about it.
Millie on the other hand didn't seem to receive any notes.
She was depressed and cut herself more often. She hasn't told anyone about what she's been doing.
It was currently Thursday and Finn was opening his locker to see if anyone had left any more notes.
Ever since he received it he always double checked his locker to see if there was any note that someone would've put in there again. As he closed it Iris appeared.
He stumbled back as she caught him by surprise.
"Jesus, what are you doing here?".
"What? I can't pass by to say hi to a friend" she smiled.
"We aren't friends" he replied coldly.
"Wow okay I see how it is, just remember the things you say come back to bite you", she then walked away proudly.
What was she even talking about. He brushed it off and went outside to meet Caleb.
On his way out he felt a tap on his shoulder, "Hey Finn".
"Oh hey Jaeden shouldn't you be in class".
"Yeah but I really don't care if I fail English, I'm meeting Jack behind the school to...um smoke, y-yeah smoke".
"Oh I never took you as the guy to smoke".
"W-Well yeah Finn I do, y-your not the only one" he then quickly walked away.
That was pretty weird he thought and went to go meet Caleb.
Millie was in Art class with Sadie and Lizzy, they were both talking about a party Caleb was hosting the next day. Millie didn't care to join the conversation.
"Hey mills, are you alright?" Sadie asked.
"What? Oh yeah I am".
"Are you sure because you seem kind of-"
"You know what, I need to use the bathroom, I'll be right back" she left without letting her finish.
Millie went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror, she felt like crying right there she had to go home.
She went to the nurse and said she had cramps and had to go home. The nurse let her go and on her way to leave she bumped into someone.
"Oh hey mill", it was Joseph.
"Don't call me that", she then quickly went for the door.
Joseph held her shoulder back "No wait, there's something you should know I-".
"No, I don't ever want to speak to you again so leave me alone".
"You know what? Fine, I should've broken up with you a long time ago, I only dated you to get in your pants, but you're just a prude I wasted my time on".
She scoffed and walked out then she saw the familiar raven haired boy outside with Caleb.
"Hey Millie, shouldn't you be in class?" Caleb asked.
"I just feel sick and have to go home".
"Oh ok, by the way I'm having a party tomorrow you should definitely come, right Finn?".
"Yeah, sure whatever", Finn said.
"I'll think about it, I'll see you guys tomorrow".
"Wait Millie do you need a ride to go home" Caleb asked,.
"What no I-I'm fine I can walk", she left before he could answer.
"That's weird I would've figured she hired people to pick her up".
"What's the problem? I thought Millie and you were cool now".
"We are but that doesn't change my opinion about her and automatically makes us best friends".
"Whatever dude", Caleb said then rolled his eyes.
"Also, why did you invite her to your party?".
"Cause maybe her and you could you know get closer."
"Um no, I don't like her and she probably won't even come to the party anyway".
Caleb then shrugs, while Millie was walking to the place she most felt alone.
