Finn's POV-
"Okay fine, Wolfhard I see your grades have improved so I'll let you back on the football" said Coach Harbour.
Before I could thank him I got interrupted.
"But always make sure your grades don't go down again or I'll have to kick you out again" he said.
"Yes, sir I understand" I said
The only reason I play football is so I can impress my parents by being good at something.
On my way out to leave the school, I see Millie go in front of me
"Your girlfriend, decided to put this note in my locker" she said as she handed me the note.
I read it slowly.
"Why do you think Iris wrote this, it could've been the guy who cheated on you" I said a little too loud.
"I asked him and he said he didn't write it" she said.
"And you're gonna believe him after what he did to you, I thought you were better than that Millie" I said.
"You know what, forget I said anything just tell Iris to stop" she said.
Before I could say anything she walked outside through the doors.
I can't believe she accused my girlfriend of doing that.
I'm just happy that I'm back on the football team.
Millie's POV-
I can't believe Finn didn't think Iris wrote it, but of course he's gonna believe her over me, he hates me.
The only reason I thought Iris wrote the note was because when I was talking to Joseph about the note she gave me this weird grin.
Now I am currently on my way to my house with Sadie.
"So Sades, where's Lizzy?" I asked. "She's working on a project with Gaten" she said.
"It's so obvious they like each other. Why can't they just date already?" I said.
Sadie just shrugged.
"So how is it going with you and Caleb?" I asked.
"Good, but I'm kind of nervous because he asked me to go to his football game tomorrow" she said.
"Wait can you come with me please I really don't want to go by myself" she asked me with a begging tone.
"Um," before I could say no she interrupts me.
"Please, Please, Please, Pleaseeeee", she said.
"Okay, Okay fine I'll go with you".
"Thank you" she said as she hugged me.
For the rest of the night we talked about tv shows and had dinner until she had to leave.
Finn's POV-
"Dude are you ready" Caleb asked me.
"Yeah" I said.
I hope I'm still good at playing football, I haven't played in months.
I took a look at the people in the bleachers, I saw Millie and Sadie there, they're probably there because of Caleb.
I couldn't find Iris anywhere and she said she would come.
But that's not the important thing right now I had to get ready to play.
Millie's POV-
"Sadie, why is this taking so long, we've been here for an hour already" I said.
"It's almost gonna start, just be patient" she said, as I sighed.
Then the loud speakers announced our team's name and called them out.
I saw Caleb, and then I saw Sadie quickly stand up and cheer for him.
Then I saw Finn?
I didn't know he played football.
We made eye contact as I quickly looked away.
I noticed that Iris wasn't in the bleachers, too bad for him.
The game was so boring, I was only doing this for Sadie.
I kept daydreaming not even paying attention to the game anymore.
All of a sudden I heard people's gasps next to me.
I then snapped out of my thoughts and saw someone on the ground, it was Finn.
Caleb and the other guys were helping him get up, he looked like he was in pain.
The coach said something to him as he went to go to the boys locker room.
I then saw Sadie get up from her seat going to talk to Caleb, I followed behind her.
"What happened" she asked him.
"Someone from the other team tripped Finn and he fell hard, the coach told him to go take a break".
We nodded.
"Wait, Millie do you think you can go check on him please, since Iris is not here" Caleb asked.
"Fine I guess", I said annoyed.
Like he would want me there.
I walked past the coach so he wouldn't see me go to the boys locker room.
When entered the room, it smelled like sweat.
"Caleb, is that you?" I heard Finn say.
"No", I said as I faced him.
He was cleaning up a cut from his stomach.
"Why are you in here?" he said annoyed.
"Caleb told me to go check on you" I said.
"This is the boys room" he said.
"Yeah so," I said.
"So you should go home" he said.
"Why do you hate me so much?" I said.
"Because you're annoying" he said.
"You know what, I don't have time for this just shut up and let me help you clean your cut" I said.
He had 3 bruises on his stomach and a large cut that had blood coming out of it.
While I was cleaning it I then noticed that he had abs so I tried to not look at it".
I heard doors open, it was Iris.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry I'm late, I heard what happened.
I stopped cleaning the cut, as she gave me a death glare.
"What are you doing here, brat" she said.
I had enough of her already.
"I'm here cleaning up your boyfriend's injury because you weren't here!" I said.
She scoffed still looking mad.
"Whatever my job is done here" I said as I left the locker room.
After that Sadie and I said bye to Caleb and she dropped me off at my house.
