Yoongi's mouth fell open his eyes watering again as the man walked away disappearing into the shadows of the alleyway.   He placed a hand around his mouth attempting to conceal his shrill cries from the ears of any bystander.

"I'm always watching."  He kept repeating, his voice getting weaker each time the sinister phrase was said.

Who was this man? Had his father sent someone after him upon realizing he was alive? Yoongi's breaths became jagged as he thought more, the man's threatening voice replaying in his head as he walked. He could feel Namjoon's cold lips and hot breath pressed up against his ear whispering. Yoongi placed a hand on his neck running his fingers along the indentations the man's rings left. He shivered as he could still feel a presence holding his neck tightly.  He ran his fingers along his wrist, and choked a sob.

"Mint chip?" a person's gentle voice called from behind.

Yoongi halted his movements and turned around slowly his bloodshot swollen eyes meeting Hoseoks concerned ones.

"What are you doing walking alone at this time, and why are your eyes so puffy?" Hoseok questioned curiously moving closer to Yoongi.

His movements halting seeing the boy tremble with each close step.

"Yoongi, what happened?" Hoseok asked keeping his distance.

The small boy only looked away his eyes not daring to meet the taller males; His bottom lip trembled in his attempt to form words. Hoseok took a step closer disregarding Yoongi's flinched movements as he placed the boy's small head onto his chest, his arms wrapping protectively around his small waist.

The scent of Hoseoks cologne filled up Yoongi's nostrils calming his shaky breaths and fast heartbeat. He rested his head onto Hoseoks chest; the deep vibrations of his voice soothed his racing mind.

"Baby, please tell me what happened." Hoseok questioned again lifting the boys chin to meet his stern gaze.

Yoongi's mind craved to tell Hoseok everything. He wanted to scream he had a stalker, he wanted to shriek about his father and the pain he suffers, he wanted to break down and sob in his arms about the man who held him by his throat. He wanted Hoseok to hold him against his chest and whisper into his ears with his gentle voice.

"It'll all be okay."

This was what Yoongi wanted, not what he deserved. Yoongi deserved nothing, in his mind all of this was his fault. Had he not been walking alone at night, he could've avoided the rough interaction. Had he endured his father's abuse and pain he'd still have a family to turn too. Every minor inconvenience made Yoongi blame himself. He'd find himself lying on the cold floor of the bathroom every night, the blade sharp and ready to help him repent for all the pain he caused others. Each slice he'd make into his pale skin was another sin taken from his soul.

"C-can you walk me home?" Yoongi softly spoke looking down avoiding the questioning look in Hoseoks eyes.

Hoseok frowned slightly at the boy, nevertheless complying with his wishes.

"Of course, just- here." He gestured removing his coat placing it on Yoongis shoulders.

Yoongi looked up at the tall man, his innocent eyes coating with thankfulness as they walked slowly. The once dangerous streets and frightening shadows felt like nothing to Yoongi. Hoseok made him feel stronger than the darkness, Hoseok made the presence gripping his neck fade away. He made Yoongi feel loved, and Yoongi liked that.

He liked Hoseok.

The security lights of the flat complex blinded Yoongi as he was awakened from his thoughts.

"Are you sure you're okay here without Jimin?" Hoseok questioned worriedly.

Yoongis brows furrowed as he stared into the man's eyes.

"How do you know about Jimin?"  Yoongi would question curiously.

Hoseok's dark eyes stared Yoongi down; he'd clench his jaw giving Yoongi the same peculiar flirtatious smirk.

"I'm a regular at the café, while you're lost in your thoughts Jimin comes by and serves me. We strike up quite the conversation about the mint haired cutie at the counter."  He'd answer playfully creating a large blush to coat Yoongi's cheeks.

"Oh, thanks for walking me home. You're kind of a life saver." Yoongi would praise as he'd take off Hoseoks jacket only to be stopped.

"No, keep it on. I'm sure I'll come back and get it another day." Hoseok winked grinning as Yoongi's eyes widened in embarrassment.

"Yeah o-of course,  why don't I give you my number and we can discuss the day I give you your coat back?" Yoongi would stutter out his cheeks blushing deeply as he'd search for his phone.

"That's perfect baby boy, have a good night."  Hoseok leaned in delivering a soft kiss to the pale boys cheek.

Yoongi felt his body melt at Hoseoks soft lips. His throat became dry as he squeaked out a good night watching the tall attractive man smile one last time before trotting into the darkness. Yoongi squealed feeling the thumps in his chest rapidly increase; his mind was cloudy with thoughts of Hoseok as he twirled around the lobby of the flat.
