Chapter Fourteen - Who are you?

Later today, me and Jinri is gonna head over to my mother's house, only to give her some company and since Jinri's off, we decided to go together and plus Alayna likes it when Jinri's around.

“Y'know I really don't think your mother would agree on fighting for custody for Alayna” Jinri said as she was plating my food, since now she doesn't have to pretend to be human around me, because like I said before- I don't wanna see that shit again.

“I know she wants to leave Damian. I could tell” I said knowingly “And I'll just try to convince her, because I ain't leaving here without her” I added determined.

“That's one of the reasons why I love you, because when you set your mind to something you're so darn stubborn and no one can ever change your mind about it” Jinri looked a little amused, as she gave me a kiss on my cheek.

I just chuckled at that “Well I do get my stubbornness from my mother” I said knowingly.

“I can see that” Jinri chuckled.

Jinri and I continued to hang out for a bit down stairs, as we were finishing up our shows, just to kill some time before we head over to my mother's house.

Once we were done getting ready. We wasted no time in heading to my mother's house. It still kinda felt unreal being back, but this time..in a different way.

“You guys came earlier than expected?” My mother said as she opened the door, which I was surprised, thinking maybe Jerome would be the one to open it.

“Why is Damian still here?”.

“No, no. He left along time ago” My mother said as she opened the door wider, so we can come in.

As we entered, we were quickly greeted by Alayna, who ran right towards us, full of energy as always.

“Jin, can we play good guy, bad guy outside?” Alayna tugged onto Jinri's shirt, pointing outside.

“Alayna honey, they just got here. I'm sure Jinri here wants to relax first” My mother told Alayna, who frowned.

“No, it's okay. I don't mind at all” Hearing that made Alayna jump up with joy, as the two head outside, leaving my mother and I alone.

We decided to go sit outside, since it was more cooler, with Jerome bringing us some beverages and he also went over to Jinri, giving them drinks as well.

“So you never told me how long you two been together?” My mother ask glancing a look over Jinri and then back at me.

“Since the day I left actually” I told her, which she looked surprised by this.

“So she was there at the cliff?” My mother asked interested to know what happened that day.

“I don't know the full deets, but she was the one that saved me that day” I told my mother, who looked satisfied with my answer, cause obviously I wasn't about to tell her everything, knowing that Jinri ain't so much human, afterall.

“Remind me to thank her for doing so” My mother said as she looked over to the two playing together.

“I will” I said with a nod, as I had a smile on my face looking over to Jinri.

My mother and I talked about many other things, and I also almost forgotten about what I told Jinri, which luckily I remembered.

When I told my mother that she should at least try to fight Damian for custody over Alayna. She simply looked at me like I was crazy.
