"Oh God, he's here."
"Haruka-chan!" Tooru sprinted to the opposite side of the court to where I was standing and gave me a big hug and spun me around, my feet lifting off the floor. "Aaaaaah, I missed you so much! I wish you came to Seijoh." He cried.
Everyone in the gym seemed to be giving me looks of either pity or confusion. I wiggled my way out of Tooru's arms and flicked his forehead.
"Ouch! What was that for?!" He winced and rubbed his forehead.
"We're in the middle of a game. And you literally saw me this morning! Take off your jacket, put your kneepads on, and get out there, dumbass." I pointed to the court and he walked over to his coach with a frown and slouched posture.
From the outside, this definitely looks like I'm an older sibling chastising their little brother, and I feel like that all the time, even though I'm the younger one.
Once Tooru got on the court, his fangirls started screaming again, and I sat down on the bench with a loud huff. Takeda-sensei and Suga looked over with concerned looks, as if to ask if I was okay.
"I'm fine guys, he does this a lot." I waved my hand with a bit of a grin on my face.
"Well, I hope he doesn't hate us for having you as our manager." Suga chuckled.
"I'll kick his ass either way." I huffed again, crossing my legs.
The third set began, and Seijoh was fighting neck in neck with Karasuno. They made the wrong choice provoking Tanaka, because it only drove everyone to play harder.
It was Tooru's turn to serve at Karasuno's match point. I was sure that he was thinking of smashing a few serves through and beating us, since I can guarantee he has one of the most powerful serves in the prefecture, maybe the most powerful. Even in America, I had never seen anyone match up to my brother's strength in serving.
Tooru jumped, and I could practically hear the ball vibrate as he smacked it through. His serves always gave me chills, no matter how many times I saw them. I could never match up to them, even if I tried as hard as possible.
He aimed the ball towards Kei, and it hit off of the tall blonde's shoulder, flying up to almost hit some of the students watching. I glared at him and he chuckled. "As I was watching the match, I noticed that you, number six, and the little number five over there," he glanced at Shoyo. "Aren't the best receivers. First years, I'm assuming?"
He served two more times, bringing the score up to 23-24. Daichi moved back, wanting to help out Kei, since he is better at receiving. Tooru seemed to take notice of this and mumbled to himself. He aimed for Kei once again, but it wasn't as powerful this time, and he was able to save it.
Because of how powerful the serve was, after it was received, the ball went back over to Seijoh's side. Yutaro jumped up to spike, but Shoyo managed to quickly get his hand up.
"One touch!" He shouted, swiftly darting to the opposite side of the court. Tobio made a quick set, almost too fast to see, and Shoyo smacked it through, right past Tooru's head, before he even had time to react to it.
The crowd cheered, and I got up off the bench to clap and smirk at Tooru, who didn't look amused.
After helping to clean up the gym, we walked outside, and I saw Tooru waiting at the gates. Before anyone could say anything, I spoke up, "Hey dipshitkawa, what do you want?"
He glared at me, but I just stuck my tongue out with an unamused expression.
"I came to see if you wanted to walk home with me, Haruka-chan!" He gave his "princely smile," as his fangirls called it, trying to convince me to come with him. We both knew that the only was I was tagging along was if he grovelled at my feet, but he wasn't about to embarrass himself in front of the entire Karasuno team.
"Ah, well, I have to drop my equipment back off at our school, so I'm just gonna walk back by myself." He frowned and then his eyes quickly lit back up again.
"Well, what if I just come with you then--"
I pushed his face away and walked past him to head to the bus that just pulled up. "Yeah, no, then you'll come to the school and bother me every day."
The rest of the team followed me as Tooru tried to convince me. "B-b-but, you're back in Japan and your poor onii-chan barely gets to see you! I just want to spend time with you Haruka-chan!"
"Yeah, well, now I'm not making you dinner, go home." I hopped onto the bus and he crossed his arms and huffed.
"Fine, be that way! I'm gonna delete you from the group chat!" I whipped my head back around, almost smacking Daichi, who was behind me. I walked back down the steps and let the boys board the bus.
"You wouldn't." I squinted my eyes at him, grabbing the collar of his jacket, probably making wrinkles in the fabric because of how hard I was gripping it. "You know that's the way I send memes to Makki and Matssun."
"Yes, I would, and I'll ban you from joining back again too." He smirked, making me practically seethe.
I walked back into the bus, and asked Kiyoko if she could take back my equipment. "I'll see you all tomorrow, I have a brother to beat up," I cracked my knuckles and grabbed Tooru by the collar. "Still not making you dinner."
I began to walk off in the direction to our house as he yelled at me.

I yawned as I walked into the gym after school, only to see a short boy with dark hair with a blonde highlight in the front.
"Um, who might you be?" I asked, and he turned to me.
"I'm Nishinoya Yuu, only the best libero ever," He gave a smug smile and pointed to himself. "Who are you?"
"Oh, well, my name's Oikawa Haruka. I'm the new main manager, alongside Kiyoko." I smiled, extending my hand for him to shake.
He grasped my hand with both of his, as his eyes practically sparkled. "Y-you're our new manager?! Someone as beautiful as Kiyoko too!"
I blushed and rubbed the back of my head. "Haha, I'm not beautiful, but thank you. I hope to get along."
"Wait, Oikawa?" He realised at last what I had said. "As in Oikawa Tooru, the setter from Seijoh?"
"Yes, he's my older brother." I said, my smile dimming a bit.
"Well, thank you for coming to Karasuno! I'm sure you'll be able to help us out big time!" He smiled.
"Oh, Haruka, you're here," Suga smiled as he walked beside me. "I see you already met Nishinoya."
"Yes, I was just introducing myself. He's really nice." The short libero seemed to be ecstatic as I said that.
I was interrupted by a voice coming from the gym door. "Excuse me, I'd like to join the volleyball team?" They asked in a thick foreign accent.
I recognize that voice. Could it be...?
"Haruka?"
