Chapter 3: Wedding rings

Due to what happened to Izuku, Katsuki inform his sidekicks that he'll be taking a few days off from work through a phone call. There's no fucking way that he'll be leaving Izuku alone with the way he is right now. Katsuki already feel like shit when he was forced to work while his Omega was in heat so he's not going to leave Izuku's side this time.

After they left the hospital, Katsuki eyed Izuku from the corner of his eyes and saw the unease expression his Omega is making. Izuku doesn't remember how he led his past 11 years. The 'Izuku' right now is still afraid and wary of him. It would certainly be a bad idea if Katsuki were to tell Izuku that they are mates and is married. This poor nerd is going to freak out for sure.

Carefully and without Izuku noticing, Katsuki remove his golden wedding ring, the proof of their love and marriage, and put it into his pocket.

"Follow me." Katsuki said as he started to walk.

Not knowing what else to do, Izuku can only follow Katsuki. Now that he knows that a huge part of his memories is locked away, Izuku doesn't know what the 'he' is doing. Right now he feels like he's a child who is stuck in the body of an adult.

"W-where are we going?" Izuku asked in a soft voice. Even though Katsuki has changed, he still brace himself from the incoming yelling and shouting. Who can blame him for acting like this? He doesn't remember anything and the last time Katsuki scream at him feels like it's only a few minutes ago.

"...Our house." Katsuki replied.

"Eh? We live t-together?"

"Because we're fucking mat- roommates."

Okay, now Izuku's getting confused. Why are they staying together? What on earth is their relationship with each other? Did they... become friends again? Or was it due to some kind of a reason that Izuku need to live with Katsuki?

Looking at the shops around him, Izuku can see some shops he doesn't recognize even though he has been to this street many times before. Everything in this world right now feels so familiar and yet, so foreign at the same time.

Passing by an electronic store, Izuku stopped in his track when something caught his attention. Katsuki was on the TV...

There was a gigantic villain and Katsuki was fighting while protecting the people behind him, all on his own. The whole battle was filmed by the cameraman and Izuku nearly got a heart attack when he saw how Katsuki almost got crushed by that villain. But Katsuki fought back by letting out powerful explosion and quickly overpowered the enemy.

Izuku watches in awe when the villain was finally defeated. While Katsuki may be rude and is quick to get angry, it doesn't change the fact that he was born with a wonderful quirk and talent for fighting. Hero or not, Katsuki's going to become a very successful person no matter what he do. As for a weak and quirkless Omega like Izuku... he can never hope to become someone like Katsuki.

"As expected... Kacchan really did became a pro hero. With his talent, strength and quirk, it's only nature that he's going to be an outstanding hero. As for me... I wonder what I'm doing before I lost my memories. What kind of job am I doing? Probably anything but being a hero, since I've decided to give up on that dream and search for a much more realistic dream. I hope I got a stable job that wouldn't make mom worried too much about me." Izuku thought, lowering his gaze to the ground sadly. Even though he has decided to look at a realistic future, a part of him still yean to become a great and wonderful Hero like All Might.

Katsuki look over his shoulder and saw his mate standing in front of the electronic store, probably lost in his own thoughts again.

"What's wrong, Deku?" Katsuki asked while being careful with the volume of his voice so that he won't scare Izuku.

Even though Katsuki wasn't being loud or shouting at Izuku, his mate still flinched when he heard his name being called. Fuck, Izuku seriously has gone back to the time where he would flinch and back away whenever Katsuki call him or look at him.

Katsuki hate to see Izuku like this. He wanted to see his Omega smiling at him happily instead of wearing that gloomy expression.

"S-sorry, Kacchan..." Izuku muttered, keeping his head low.

Damn it, he seriously need to find a way to undo the effect of this quirk fast. Katsuki love Izuku and for him not to be able to touch his beloved person or hold a conversion normally is like a fucking torture.

When they finally got back home, Katsuki realized that there are some things he'd need to hide from Izuku, such as all the photos they took when they are dating and the photo they took on their wedding. Izuku can find out about how he manage to become a Hero and how he enter UA. But he mustn't know about their marriage for now.

Katsuki turn his gaze to Izuku when he heard the sound of a growling stomach. Oh right, they rush to the hospital without eating anything didn't they?

"Go and take a bath. In meantime, I'll prepare breakfast." Katsuki said.

"Okay..." Izuku nodded.

He carefully made his way to the bathroom and thankfully, he manage to found a towel with the word 'All Might' on it. Although Izuku doesn't remember owning this towel, this definitely belongs to him. Removing his shirt off, Izuku froze when he saw his body. He was stunned to see that he has muscles. H-how did it happened? It feel really weird to see his own body like this. Izuku doesn't remember but it seems like 'he' did quite a lot of training to get these muscles. On a closer look, there are a few faint scars here and there. It wouldn't be weird if he were to touch it right? After all, this is his own body.

Just when Izuku was about to trace the scars with his finger, he saw a really nasty looking scar on his hand.

"Wha..." Izuku stares at his hand in shock. Compare to the scars on his body, the scar on his hand is really obvious. What in the world did he do to get it? Izuku blinked when he saw a golden ring on his finger.

"A ring...? No wait, this is a wedding ring." Izuku thought, looking at the ring curiously. "But why am I wearing it- wait, am I married to someone?! Who is my wife?! Or was it husband?!"

Izuku can feel a headache coming as he tried to absorb all these 'new' information but it was still too much for him to handle. He just couldn't believe it. To think that there's someone who actually want a quirkless Omega with an irregular heat circle like him... it makes him really happy.

Now that he know that he has a mate, Izuku's starting to feel bad for not being able to remember who his mate is. Who and where could his mate be? Is his mate an Alpha or Beta?

On a side note, why is he staying with Katsuki when he already got a mate and is married? Maybe he can try to ask Katsuki and pray that he won't get hurt after he finish bathing...
