Bella held her breath. "Uma!" she shouted. Uma head shot up. Harry pointed to her. "Bella?" they ask. "Help mal, please" she shouts down quickly before Audrey notices. Uma can see the pain on Bellas face. This was their only hope. She may not care for many people in auradon, but after only knowing bella a day, she knew they'd be good friends. Bella smiled hopefully at uma. She had hope, one trait she developed from her mother. One trait which never failed to appear.
This was such a weird situation to be stuck in. Never did she think shed be trapped by anyone. Especially not someone she was close to. Never someone she was related to. Audrey was her rock growing up. She was going to protect her from evil, not force it upon her. Evil terrified them both. Their biggest fears. They would face it together. Evil used to be far far away. Until ben brought over four people. She didn't think much of it at the time. Evil was soon to become very significant to her. Evil brought Bella her boyfriend. It brought her happiness which she hadn't truly felt for years. It brought jay who made her best friend happy. It made a lot of people happy when you really think about it. But it also brought pain. It didn't specifically bring her the pain. It brought mal. Mal resulted in pain for her big sister. Who then in turn brought pain over all of auradon. But then again it brought laughter. Bella hasn't laughed like she had with Carlos, jay and piper in forever. It brought good times which led to laughter. It created this pure bliss. Come to think of it, Bella had a lot to be thankful to evil for. She was scared of it for so long. She didn't realise it could bring so many great things.
Uma turned to harry. He just looked back at her blankly. Uma said something to him which was inaudible to Bella. They began running towards mal. They wanted to save auradon. As much as they denied it, they cared. They just wanted people to be happy. They wanted every villain kid to get a chance. They wanted everyone to get what they deserve. And if they helped save auradon, they were one step closer to getting their dream finally come true.
As Bella turned back to face her sister she saw a dragon. "Wow" she mumbles before her eyes moved to Audrey. "Leave her out of this!" she shouted trying to grab Celia from Audreys grip. "Stay over there. I don't want mal to hit you" Audreys says, pushing her back. Bella narrows her eyes. Maybe Audrey did care. Through all of this she wanted her little sister safe.
Bella cowered in the corner. Her breath stopping when mal would shoot, barely missing Celia. Audrey was draining mals power. "Come on uma" she mumbled under her breath. Audrey pushed Celia towards her sister, wanting to devote her full attention to the dragon before her. Bella let out a breath as Celia wrapped her arms around her friend. "Did she hurt you?" She asks. Celia shakes her head. "Nothing I couldn't handle" celias sassy side comes out, calming Bella down.
Mal appears again, the ember glowing in her hand. "Yes uma" Bella mumbled, knowing that if she hadn't of gotten umas attention, mal had no chance. Her gaze drifted back to her friends. Still stood frozen. Her heart ached. She just wanted to be in Carlos' arms again. She wanted her partner in crime back at her side. She wanted piper and jay to be happy, even if it meant them being sickeningly cute. She sighed. She wanted everyone to be happy. Typical cliche princess things but she didn't care. It was true. If everyone was happy, the world would be peaceful. One day she hoped that would happen.
"Come on mal!" Celia snapped Bella from her thoughts. She turned to the drama that was taking place before her. Her sister was struggling. She was fading away. Bellas heart ached. She desperately wanted to fight back at mal but she knew, if mal didn't defeat her auradon would be gone. So she watched. She watched the sceptres glow in the sky come down to nothing. She wanted her sister return to the Audrey she knew and loved. She watched. She watched her sister fall to the ground. She watched as the girl who she saw as strong fell, lifeless and dependant on others. Mal appeared and embraced Celia. She saw Audrey. Mal dropped to the floor. She tried. The ember couldn't do everything for her. "She's gone" she mumbles, standing back up and taking celias arm. They left Bella alone with her sister.
Bella dropped to the floor and sobbed. How could she have let mal do this? This was her sister. The girl who has been there for her through everything. How could she just watch her lie there, almost dead. There. in front of her, lay her big sister. But she was so much more than that. They argued a lot. They claimed they hated each other but they didn't. It was far from it. They had this bond. A bond nobody else understands. A bond only sisters share. They could argue til sunset but they told each other everything. They went to each other with their problems. They cried together. They laughed together. They grew up together. It was meant to be them against the world. The were going to take on anything that came their way. She let her tears fall. Her dress was ruined. Covered in her tears. Bella reached up and took the crown she took from her sister room earlier. from her head. "It think this belongs to you" she says, her voice breaking. She runs her fingers through Audreys have and places it atop her head. This brought back memories. Off when they'd act out their parents fairytale. Bella was always their dad. She didn't mind, she just loved playing with her sister. They were so innocent back then. She stroked her sister face. It was cold. Bella refused to believe it. She was gone. But nothing else was telling her otherwise. She sighed. This was it. Her big sister was gone. "When did it all go wrong?" she sighed kissing her sisters cheek for the last ever time. Or so she thought.
