Chapter 37

Caila's POV

I couldn't stand to see Matt like this. He hasn't left Hailey for more than ten minutes. I guess his sister is his world.

I was sitting in a wooden chair and looked at the clock. 4:30. We've been here for two and a half hours. Crap. I was supposed to go to Michael's.

I took out my phone and stood up.

"Matt, I'll be right back." I said walking out. He didn't acknowledge me.

I walked down the hall a little ways and called Michael.

Phone conversation

Michael - hello?

Caila - hey bro. Listen I'm sorry I can't make it today.

Michael - aww cay...

Caila - don't aww cay me. Two of my best friends are in the hospital.

Michael - I'm sorry cay. How about you and Matt come over tommorow.

Caila - yeah I don't think that's gonna happen. Matt has barely left his sisters bedside.

Michael- if you can't come to me, I'll come to you. I'll be at the hospital tomorrow at 5.

Caila - okay I'll see you then.

Michael - bye cay.

Caila - bye big bro.

I walked back into Hailey's room and everyone was either half asleep of asleep. This was going to be a long night.

Cameron's POV

Everyone came back from the cafeteria. They were know sitting in the waiting room with me. I have been sitting here for 3 hours, still no news.

Just as I started to drift off to sleep a nurse came and called Natalies name.
I instantly jumped up and ran over to her.

"Follow me." She said. Everyone followed, me leading the way. We walked through at least ten different halls. We walked into a big white room.

Natalie was lying on a bed. Her skin looked greenish and she was breathing slowly.

"Wha.... What happened to her?" I stuttered.

"The doctor will explain everything." She said nodding and walking out. Everyone stood around Hailey in a circle.

"Someone should go and get the others." I said. Gilinsky volunteered and walked out of the room.

"Hello, I am Dr. Richards." A man about 6'3" said as he walked into the room. We all sat down, I sat at the foot of Natalies bed.

"Hey." I said shaking his hand. "Cameron Dallas. Natalie's boyfriend." I said. He nodded and sat back.

"First I would like to ask you if there is any way Natalie have been cut off from Oxegyn for a long amount of time and then instantly reintroduced to it?" He asked looking around at us all. Caila, Aaron and Johnson came in.

"She has been being bullied lately." Bella said speaking up. I nodded.

"Well there is a form of self harm, the choking game. Is there anyway Natakie could be preforming this?" He asked us.

"Excuse me doctor, but half of us didn't even know she was being bullied, how do you expect us to know if she self harms. If I self harmed I wouldn't be telling people about it." I said speaking up. We all nodded.

"Natalie had a stroke and is currently in an acute coma but we predict that she will come out of it in under 24 hours." Dr. Richards said.

"Will she remember anything?" Caila asked.

"We can't be sure what she'll remember. I'm sorry." He said shaking our hands and walking out.

I looked at Natalie. She was still beautiful.

"Guys, it's 7:40 and I don't want to sleep in this hotel tonight." Shawn said. We all looked at him.

"We're staying here Shawn." I yelled at him. I would sleep here for Natalie.

"Well since we're all together, I want to tell you guys about a girl I met today." I started.

"Her name is Ivy Jean and she has leukemia and two months to live. She loves us guys. I was thinking maybe we could bring her to the beach and spend a whole day with her." I said. They all nodded in agreement.

"Aww Cam that's so sweet." Caila said tears in her eyes.
"So tommorow we can all surprise her and tell her." I said. I was so excited it was even funny.
