ryujin stared at the messages, then at her group mate. to say she was shocked was an understatement. it was more like......she was enraged. how could her own sister, her own friend, her own colleague break up her friendship like that?
chaeryeong had called her about half an hour ago saying that the showers were open, so that she could shower. while ryujin was in there, she thought about apologizing to both the girls, for being irrational towards how eunseo may have been feeling, and to reina for being such a brat and aggravating her knowing she wasn't the best at this time.
ryujin wasn't dumb, she knew something was wrong with reina judging by how she moved around lately, but the stress with new stages and the upcoming comeback that was going to happen in the next few days, made her a bit off as well.
in fact, everyone was having off days, it's just that, there are limitations as to how much off days we can consecutively carry. her heart hurt once she reread the messages. she could see her only message clearly, trying to explain herself, but the following wasn't her, it wasn't her at all. what she hated the most, was that some parts were true.
ryujin struggled to form coherent sentences in her fit of rage, all she wanted to do right now was apologize to both girls, but she knew how stubborn reina was, and considering that eunseo didn't say anything, she didn't know how she took it either.
"good. now we don't have to worry about those little sleaze things any longer. i still can't believe you're still friends with them ryu. you always complain about how reina is manipulating and uses the victim card, and how eunseo is too dumb for her own goodㅡ"
"i've never said any of those things, and you know that chae. i say rei goes out of line and cheonie is a bit of an airhead, but that's what makes them unique."
chaeryeong scoffs, arms folded together as she looks at the elder.
"how long are you going to sit and be envious of them? it gets annoying sometimes ryu. i told you to get over him a long time ago."
"and i have! you're making it seem as if i haven't. you're making it seem as if my whole life revolved around this guy. i learned to move on, and i am doing a damn good job at it. you just keep bringing it up because you don't like he doesn't look my way anymore."
chaeryeong unfolded her arms, placing each of her beautifully sculpted hands on ryujin's shoulders. then she shook her.
"this," she started, pointing at the phone as she did so, "was for your own good. i know you're secretly still hurt about it. you guys were so close, like two peas in a pod, and then she comes and snatches it away from you. then you decide to be friends with her knowing you still like him, but won't accept it? you're being delusional ryu. and you let this little playground friendship go on for too long."
with that, chaeryeong moved and left, leaving ryujin with her hands in her hair ar the entire thing. great, now he evening was ruined.
