It was finnaly the evening of the show. We've been practicing a lot and I hope this evening will end perfectly.
"You look nervous."
"I am."
"Don't worry. That's normal. Everyone is nervous before stepping on the stage."
I had a chat with my makeup artist and then stepped on the stage.
3 hours later
The play went great. This was my first time to be on a stage as an actor, and it went great.
"Congratualtions! You all did a good job up there."
The director was happy about the play and we all could see it in his face. His eyes were sparkling and he was smiling while showing his dimples. He is strict, but he works with results.
"Now celebrate and I'll meet you all tomorrow!"
"Goodbye!"
After director left, we celebrated a bit and then everyone started to slowly clean up and leave.
"This, possibly, was my one and only chance to be on stage as an actress."
"But you did great! If this will be you're last one I will fight."
I had a chat with a friend and went home.
Home
I locked the doors and went to my room to put down my stuff. Then I took the stuff, that I need for shower, and got out of my room.
To reach the bathroom I had to go trough our living room. I turned on the lught and suddenly...
"SURPRISE!"
My closest people have made a surprise for me.
"We would like to celebrate for real, but It's late so now we're having a whispering party."
They all gave me flowers and congratulated me, on my first role. They have preapred a cake for me.
After, about 2 hours, they decided to leave. I thanked my parents and sister for coming all the way here.
"Wait, but where are you staying?"
"We're staying at a hotel"
"You had me worried for a second."
I locked the doors after them and went back to living room. My roomate was cleaning up the little mess we made.
"Did you help them?"
"With what?"
"You invited them right?"
"Well yeah, but don't tell them."
"I won't."
I smiled at my roomate, before she shooed me to wash up and go to sleep.
"You're exhausted go to sleep!"
