Bass Lessons ~ {Twiggy Ramirez}

The Party

Athena:

I wake up to Twiggy tapping my shoulder

"C'mon sweetheart, we're here" He whispers sweetly to me

I groan as I lift myself off him. 

It was now dark outside, and we could hear the music booming out of the party house from the car.

The house wasn't really near any other houses, the only thing by it was a large field.

The house was huge, it had two stories, and the field it was in was filled with cars, some people even spilled out into the lawn.

When we step out of the car, I look up at the house

"Wow" I breathe, I haven't ever seen a house this big in real life.

Twiggy chuckles and has me grab a hold of his arm as we walk in. 

By now, all of the boys in the band are reunited, and we all walk in as a group.

As soon as we step in the door, there is a booming voice that startles me

"Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids!" The man excitedly said 

My jaw dropped down to the floor, Trent FUCKING Reznor

"Am I dreaming?" I whisper to Twiggy

He raises an eyebrow, surprised 

"You know Nine Inch Nails?" He asks

"Of course I do, my dad LOVED that music, I guess I kinda do too" I say

Twiggy gives me a grin, as he comes forward to shake Trent's hand

"Twiggy Ramirez! So glad you guys could make it" Trent says excitedly, then he looks to me "Whose your arm candy?" He asks

I didn't realize I was still grasping onto Jeordie 

I go wide eyed, Trent Reznor acknowledged me? I must be dreaming, or on some kind of drug.

"H-hey, I'm Athena. I'm-I'm a big fan" I say looking down at my shoes

"Hey, I appreciate that! Welcome to my home, Athena" Trent tells me, 

He makes a little more conversation with the boys, which I ignore because I am so shocked, and shortly after excuses himself 

"Holy shit" I say, completely lost as to what I should say next

Twiggy chuckles at me again 
"Breathe kid"

I laugh, and playfully push his arm

"You guys really are good. Huh?" I ask him

Marilyn joins in 

"I guess you could say that, we get invited to a lot of Trent's house parties. He likes our music, said he would eventually like to sign with us"

I look at Marilyn with shock in my eyes 

"Holy shit! Really?" I ask

He nods his head 

"Yeah, Trent just said he wants us to build up experience a little more, and then he'll sign us. The 90's is gonna be a good decade for us. Just you watch" Twiggy tells me this with excitement

I can't help but get excited too. Seeing Twiggy happy was the cutest thing ever. I just want to hug him so tightly and never let him go.

"Well, that's amazing, you guys really are amazing!" I tell them, and I do actually mean it. These guys were so talented
