Tom x soft!pregnant!reader

He held her hair back with one hand while the other rubbed her back. It isn't fun to be throwing up your guts in front of your boyfriend of four years. The spiky haired male held a expression of worry, but knew that you would be ok on the end.  You however, knew what was happening.

All the dots fit together, you were pregnant. The first thing that raised some red flags, was the fact that you missed your menstrual cycle, and it still hasn't shown in two weeks. It wasn't rare to have your menstrual cycle out of wack sometimes. But this was ridiculous! The most days you've missed were two days, and your cycle was the same as any, a long, boring seven days.

Another red flag was raised when you began to throw up in the mornings. It wasn't everyday that your humble boyfriend was there to hold back your hair, you both worked full time jobs, only being able to see each other at night. He would usually leave way before you to go work and return a few hours earlier than you. 

You got more tired as the days went on, mood swings hit you, and cramps we're a bitch. 

But you wanted to go through with all the pain, you were 100% sure that you were pregnant, all the early stages of pregnancy showing, and not to mention the few pregnancy tests hidden in the trash that had two red lines showing on all of them.

You managed to suppress the urges to vomit. You panted softly with a small frown on your face. " I don't like throwing up " You whined as you stood up, your boyfriend right there with you. " I know baby, let's get you some water, ya? " he said as he led you into the kitchen. 

He grabbed a glass, turning on the water, he looked back at you as you used the counter for support. He noticed that you were holding you stomach and your face expression made it as if you were in pain. He turned back to the sink and turned the water back off. He turned to look at you to see you smiling and no longer holding onto your stomach. 

He held the cup out in front of you as a soft ' here ' broke you from out of the trance you were in. You were thinking of great of a father he would be, and what the little one would look like as both genders. 

You took the cup from his hands and thanked him before drinking the water. Once you finished the water he took the cup from your hands and set it on the counter in case either of you wanted something to drink later. 

" Baby " You paused. You wanted to tell him in a way that would surprise him, not be told straight forward. You wanted it to be a cute little message, and you wanted to have fun with it yourself. " Thank you for staying with me " you said, it was simple and replaced what you were going to say, but it wasn't a lie. You loved him with all of your heart, and if anything were to happen to him, you wouldn't get with another man, you would do the things he loved to do, like go ice skating, or swimming, and you would do these things with your baby boy or girl. 

He pulled you into a hug and kissed the top of your head. " I know, and I love you to. You always make me happy, always had. You always know what to do or say, your beautiful, talented, sweet, and you care for everyone " This is how he saw you, he would say many more things about you, but it would take him hours to finish.

Your arms wrapped around his torso as you buried your face in his chest. You could also say so many things about him and the list would go on for hours as well. He pulled away and smiled down at you. " I'm going to go to the store to buy us dinner, do you want me to buy anything? " you asked as you moved around him to start going up the stairs to get dressed. " I could come with you " He said. 

" No, I have to do stuff to surprise you! So I have to go alone. But I'll be going to the grocery store and maybe to the mall to get what I need, I'll most likely be going to the dollar store too " you said with a smile on your face. He chuckled.
