" And done! " my mom says as she hands me the cinnamon covered toast. I smile at her. " Thanks mom" I said and started to eat the toast. " Are you excited for your first day of school?! " She asked me just as I finished my toast.

" Ya! I'm sad that we had to leave my other friends, but I can't wait to make new friends! " I said, a little bit sad. " Oh, well it's going to be ok! Dad did get a better job so we can get the things we need " she said with a smile.

I looked at the time, as did mom. " Oh! It's time to go! C'mon honey " she said and grabbed my hand. We walked out of our new house.

~ Time Skip ~

I smiled as I was climbing on the monkey bars, they were connected to the playground, and they weren't that high of the ground. I made it to the other side without falling.

I played on the playground and met some kids. Mark, Eduardo, and Jon. I met Jon and he showed me to his friends, Mark and Eduardo. The two didn't want me to play with them, they said it was because I was a third grader and they were fourth graders.

I met this other guy named Matt, he was full of energy, and really nice. He said he also had a group of friends. He practically dragged me over to his friends.

" This is my new friend, Y/n! " he said, hugging me from the side. Looks like Matt interrupted their little chat. They all turned their heads to look at me.

The one that caught my attention was the one with black eyes, they were completely black, like he had no eyes. He was also holding a teddy bear. " Hi " I said with a small smile.

" Y/n, this is Tord, Edd, and Tom! " Matt says to me, pointing at each of his friends. They all wave and say hi at the same time. They look at each other and I giggle a little.

" It's nice to meet you all! " I say happily. " It was nice to meet you too! " They all said at the same time again, and I giggle again. The bell rings, letting us know it's time for lunch.

By now I was sitting at the table with mom, she was talking about how dad won't be back for a week or two because of his job.

I had fun at school. Any group activity we had to do, I got to be with Tom, Matt, Tord, or Edd! I've grown to like them even thought we all just met today.

Tom was my favorite out of them. He is just to cute, kind, and funny! His face turns red a lot, and is a little more energetic then me, but at the same time he's shy.

" So, did you make any friends today honey? " mom asked with a smile. " Ya! I met Jon, Mark, Eduardo, Matt, Edd, Tord, and Tom! Jon, Mark, and Eduardo are in fourth grade so I didn't really get to play with them, the rest are in third grade so I got to hang out with them! " I said happily. " That's nice honey " she said smiling back.
