Cobalt awoke leaning against the cherry blossom tree, their arms wrapped around themselves. They slowly get up, not questioning why they existed at this moment in time... Just feeling the immense love of the gems that made them. They get up and start to walk down to mountain, jumping from ledge to ledge. As they walked down the mountain memories swarmed in their mind, good and bad, distant and new. They had two different wills yet their goal the same. To be free from control so they may live in their happiness. Cobalt didn't understand them but wanted to help them

15 minutes after Cobalt awoke

Steven is seen doing a puzzle as Amythest shoves who knows what down into her mouth
Connie is sitting next to Steven helping him solve the puzzle
She sits up as a happy Cobalt walks into the living room
Steven: oh, hi Cobalt!
Cobalt: he-hello Steven
Cobalt slowly sits down. Still getting used to ... Well, existing out of battle
Garnet walks out of her room as pearl finishes with the dishes. Connie gets up along Steven as they begin to head out to the training grounds
Garnet: hello Cobalt, nice to see you
Cobalt: oh... Hi Garn-G- GARNET

Cobalt shrugs... Having two almost completely opposite emotions swelling in them is very new for them... They always where meant to fight, not just exist. It was new for them
Cobalt: I'm.... Fine
Garnet nods as they all warp to the cloud arena
The cloud arena gave Cobalt a strange feeling, yet also knowing that this was the end of the road for now, he-she-them... Would have to spilt up. Cobalt hopes that they can come back someday, as a person, not a tool
Cobalt began to glow as they separated into Red and Coral.
Red pat's dirt off his pants and straightens his hair while Coral gives a sigh of relive and goes into the stands
Garnet: alright crystal gems, with new threats coming our way it is now more than ever needed to try and get new fusions out of our new allies. We have already seen Cobalt and the basics of our abilities, but I know that with these new gems comes great potential
Red watches Garnet while Pezzot makes her way towards Red to get in her backpack
Garnet explained that each one of the gems will try to fuse with Red, then Coral, and finally Pezzot, the only one to not do so is Connie
Garnet: first up is pearl, go try to fuse with Red
Pearl: uhh, ok
Pearl walks up to a relaxed Red
Red: so, how do you lot do this?
Pearl: well we usually dance, I'll start
Pearl begins to dance an elegant dance, ballet mixed with a little bolero. She slowly makes her way to Red, who slowly picked pearl up as she balances on his hand and slowly his fingertip. They begin to glow as their bodies merge... And then get spat back out
Red and Pearl: GAAAAHHH!
Garnet: hm,
your relationship might need some work before you two can fuse... I'll go next
