Doyoung and Jaehyun didn't really talk much, other then the times Doyoung would speak up and give Jaehyun directions. The atmosphere wasn't really awkward, it was just calm and quiet. It might be because Doyoung isn't one to socialize, or maybe.. just maybe, Doyoung found Jaehyun too intimidatingly handsome.

Nah.

Doyoung just slumped deeper into the passenger's seat, as he stared out into the road in front of them.

JH: It seems you live pretty far?

Doyoung sat up right and looked over at Jaehyun.

DY: If you find it bothersome, you can drop me off here I'm sure I can-

Doyoung was interrupted by Jaehyun's quiet chuckling.

JH: I didn't mean it like that. I'll be safely escorting you all the way to your front door. I just wanted to make conversation with you, and so I asked.

Doyoung was stunned. Why was this guy trying to make conversation.  It's not like they were going to meet again anyways.

DY: Oh.

Jaehyun was chuckling again. For some reason, he found Doyoung to be kinda cute.

(A/n: ugh. why do I do this to myself?)

JH: Hyung, your not really good at interacting with people are you?

(A/n: I hope it's okay if I keep using "hyung". I know some people find it kind of cringey to read it in english fanfics. But I just find the word very endearing, and it makes it seem like Jaehyun wants to be close.)

DY: I don't really go out much, so no.

Unknowingly Doyoung hadn't torn his gaze away from Jaehyun this whole time, so the moment he caught himself, he felt embarrassed and turned back to the road ahead.

After a moment he realized.

DY: Uh.. I'm really sorry, but I think we drove too far and missed a turn.

Doyoung was cursing himself on the inside.

Jaehyun could feel his distress and only laughed to lighten the mood.

JH: it's okay hyung, we can just pull into that gass station over there and then get back on the right way.

And just as Jaehyun said, he pulled into the gas station.

JH: I hope it's okay if I take the chance to fill it up.

DY: No, yeah go ahead, I'm okay with it.

Jaehyun parked next to a gas pump and turned the car off. He tuck the keys out and turned to Doyoung.

JH: I forgot my wallet at the bar, so please excuse me.
