The door bursts open. I look up, startled. "Grandma? Grandpa?" I ask, frightened beyond belief. They grin maliciously at me. "Darling. Pleasure to finally meet you. You're just as hideous as your mother. A spitting. Image." Grandma spits. I tremble in fear and stand up. My chair falls back at the force.

"Don't hurt me!" I plead. Grandpa laughs, a full on wicked cackle. They descend upon me. "Your mother and aunt should've never been born! This'll teach them!" Grandma sneers. Grandpa pulls a long knife from behind his back.

"This time...I won't miss." He says. I scream, just as the knife plunges into my chest.

I jolt up, panting and crying. "Naomi? Are you alright?" Colton asks me. I look at him. I can barely register anything going on around me. Breathing becomes a struggle and tears prick my eyes. "Naomi? C'mon Super Girl. Focus on my voice. You're okay." I feel arms wrap around my body and pull me closer to to someone.

My vision clears and slowly I am able to breathe properly. "C- Colton?" I stutter. He rocks me back and forth on his lap.
"Sh. It's okay baby." I wrap my arms around his neck and cry into his chest. He just allows it to happen.

After I settle down, I pull away and stand up. I look around. We're in his office. I recall hanging out in here for a while with Colton. I must've fallen asleep. I feel my face heat up. He shouldn't have been here to witness my nightmares. I have them very frequently. Although, I didn't have one last night surprisingly.

"Are you okay?" Colton asks, concerned. I blink into focus. "Um yeah. Yeah I'm fine. Just a small nightmare." I say, shrugging him off. He frowns. "You sure? You woke up covered in sweat and tears Naomi." He points out. I glare at him. "I'm fine Colton." He sighs and nods. "Fine fine."

"Boss!" Duncan yells. He bursts into Colton's office. "Oh. Why- Nevermind. We have a problem." Colton's jaw clenches and he stands. "Stay here." He orders me. I frown. "What's going on?" I ask. He shakes his head at me and follows Duncan. I scoff. Does he really think I'll stay? Curiosity killed the cat people.

I creep out of the office and follow the guys to the tech room. These morons left the door open a crack. "We have another shipment Thursday. It's top of the line. Completely descrete. The Timber Wolves have no way of finding out about it." I hear Duncan say.

"What's in the boxes?" Colton asks.

"Custom guns, knives and drugs. We got some new high tech equipment and security systems as well." Galvin explains. My jaw drops. Drugs? "What was so urgent?" Colton asks. He's getting irritated.

"Oh. The Wolves know about Naomi joining the gang. She's going to need to start her training as soon as possible. For the time being, she needs protection. Someone watching her twenty four seven until we're certain she can handle herself against the enemy." Duncan says. I nearly scoff.

Handle myself? Bitch please. I've been able to do that since ten. They're obviously better fighters but I'm no amateur. "No problem. She won't leave our sights during school hours. Outside of school, we'll have someone watch the house, and someone watch her. They could go after her family to get to her." Colton says.

I chew on my bottom lip. I forgot the dangers of this. Suddenly, I hear them walking towards the door. I bolt, running back to Colton's office. I plop onto the couch and pull my phone out right as
