Falling Back Together

"Hello!" Taehyung asks still in his bed. Who wakes up so early in the morning anyways!  If not for this call he had next to no intentions of leaving bed. Its winter for god's sake. Not like he has anything to look forward to anymore so why not just sleep.

"Hello Tae, you still there?" Jimin asks from other end of line.

"Hm"Taehyung rolls to his other hand.

"Well I have something really important to tell you, can you come over?"Jimin asks.

"Jimin-ah do I really have to come all the way to your apartment? Its cold out!" Tae whines he just wanted to stay in. Winter break just started there must be too many happy go lucky people roaming on streets. He preferred his quite indoors more anyday. At least he never had to put on a fake smile in here. There comes a long pause from Jimin's side and soon follows a long sigh. Taehyung can imagine his friend sitting on his couch with his telephone receiver in his hand and sad look as an reply to his question. "Jimin, you still there?"he asked even though deep down he knows his friend had not hung upon him.

"Yes, I am"Jimin replies.

"Is it that important?" Taehyung knows he would comply seeing his friend is really serious and even if he is not Taehyung can never really say 'no' to Jimin, can he? Afterall, saying 'yes' to everything is not toxic with him. It gets on his nerves but still he can do that much for his soulmate.

"It would mean a lot to me if you could Tae. You are my only family. But I know you don't like being forced. You can stay in my room all the time once you come. I just don't know who else to call so I called you. But it fine even if you don't want to. I understand" Jimin says. The evident change of tone from happy to gloomy is making him guilty.

"I'll come" He says slapping himself mentally. But Jimin is more important. Afterall he considered Taehyung his family after his own family left him. He even helped Taehyung when he was alone. He owes at least that much to him.

"Is than a promise?" Jimin asks, Tae could imagine him smiling and he really was.

"Yes. I promise I will come. I ll be there by eve" Tae replied, he will have to get ready. Jimin stayed with his husband he can not just barge in wearing pyjamas anymore. "See you there. Bye bye chimmy" Taehyung says trying to sound cheerful. They hung up. Taehyung slowly gets out of his bed. Christmas break will start on Monday anyways. He looks at the Christmas present he bought for Jimin. He was not sure while buying it but it was really beautiful. Jimin would really like it. Its a neck chain for couples with a ring in it as pendant. It had both their names on each one. He packed it right away and wrote a small note on it, 'Merry Christmas Jimin-ah. Hope you will like it'. His hand subconsciously grazed his ring finger and when he realises it he looks away. This is exactly why he hates going out at all. It has been an year already. He already spent the last Chriatmas this way, then why does it still bother him so much. He starts folding his blanket and suddenly its hard for him to even breath. Last night he slept late, it was weekend he did not feel like taking pills. He tried sleeping on his own but it did not work out. He ended up passing out, he was really tired of it all. He has to be so weak, does he not?! He does not notice the tears spilling from his eyes. He tries to breath but its so hard. His vision starts to get hazy. He is sweating heavily and air seems to be blocked out by something. He looks around for inhaler, trying to find it by touching around. It was on table last night as he always leave it there. He panics more as things crash on ground making loud noise, his hand finds the object and he hurriedly takes the dose. He sits like that for  a while until his breathing gets back to normal. His asthma always gets triggered when he is vulnerable. He hates it!

  Getting up was never this hard, but lately he seemed to have no will to get better. He moves as he hear a small barking voice in hall... Yeontan must be hungry! He hurries to hall only to be met by a small bundle at his feet jumping. He quickly put some food and water out for the said dog. He is like his kid. He has him for 3 years now. He looks at him fondly for a while before starting his routine. 

He gets ready and cleans his apartment. Its 3PM, he leaves for Jimin's place. Jimin lives at other end of the city. It is not that far but with winterbreak it sure is crowded as hell on streets. He takes the present tucking it in a bag and gets in  his car. He usually avoids going to Jimin's place. He thinks about having to see Yoongi, it is difficult to stand the cold shoulder he gets. Yoongi used to be warm towards him, heck he used to show him more affection than he ever gained but after everything its better Yoongi hates him for what happened. He can't stand him knowing more than he does. Its gonna be a long night.
