"After that, mom and dad thought the girl in picture was my girlfriend and I did it because she cheated. I could not let them know I am gay... so I played along. Dad was really angry they wanted to file a report but I did not let him. So he sent me to Seoul to stay with Yoongi hyung" Jungkook says taking a gulp from his can of beer.
Hoseok pats Jungkook on shoulder. He feels really bad about Jungkook. When Jungkook had come to Seoul, Hoseok was completing his last year of Psychology bachelorate. He used to stay at University hostel cause he wanted to earn his life for himself. He was adopted by Jeons before Jungkook was born. And they loved him with all their heart but they did not burden him with their expectations like they did with Jungkook. He left for his college studies and moved to Seoul, he earned it all himself with little help from his foster parents. But he loved them as a family and he runs his own psychology center in USA as his father wants him too. But he never thought much about Jungkook and he feels guilty about it. He is a psychologist and he should have seen it sooner. The time he met Jungkook after coming to seoul, Jungkook did not talk much as always. But he did notice how Jungkook exercised more and kept himself busy, learning alk sorts of things. He thought Jungkook wanted to prove himself as most people in his age do.
"Why did you not tell me back when I asked Kook, I... I..." Hoseok can feel how Jungkook must have felt back then. But even if Jungkook had told him what coukd he have done. It was not like he was capable of going against there parents, they are homophobic and he knew it. They did not react much after Hoseok admitted he was bisexual, but 'you are a free man' was enough to make him realise no matter what he was not a Jeon. But he did not feel much bitter, afterall they did a lot for him.
"I know hyung, there was not much you could do at times either" Jungkook offers Hoseok a smile which did not meet his eyes at all.
"So about marriage..." Hoseok asks.
" I met him on my first day at Uni" Jungkook begins his story again.
