Spine II [Jimin's Encounter]

Y/N turned off the car. The rain hammered against the roof and cap of it. Y/N opened the door. Its first instinct was to grab an umbrella, as it knew how easily Jimin got sick during the rainy season.

It walked to the other side, opened the umbrella, then the door, and followed Jimin from there on.

The diner was quite far from the booming city. Well, Jimin did live in the outskirts of Old Seoul for obvious reasons. The stress of the complete city life could have caused a malfunction in his system leading to even more brain and spine damage.

Y/N placed a coat on Jimin's shoulders as they walked. Its actions causing the artificial skin to bring up steam.

The rain made Y/N's hair, clothes, skin, and shoes wet, but it really didn't matter. After all, it couldn't get sick.

They walked across the parking lot and reached the double doors. The old style and 1980′s vibe were a contrast to the rest of this part of town. The neon sign with the words Roselyn Family Diner gave a combination of pink and blue hues to Jimin's skin.

"Please go inside, I will catch up in a minute." Y/N said opening the door.

Jimin nodded, only to not walk in.

Y/N tilted its head. Jimin's reaction to this being a shrug.

It blinked a few times before continuing its work.

It left the umbrella open next to the blue rectangle on the floor. Umbrella Station was visible, even if the hologram was constantly hit by the rain. Y/N stood straight and a patch of steam emerged from its skin as it dried off.

Y/N blinked once more and turned. Jimin was still standing there.

"Let's go inside," It said as it opened the door once more.

"Here is your food," The lady said cheerfully as she left the plates on their tables.

Y/N smiled and thanked the lady before turning to Jimin.

"Are you not eating?" She asked after almost 10 minutes had passed from the time the waitress had left the food.

Jimin was extremely focused on his laptop screen, typing away.

Y/N blinked, nodded, and stayed still.

The system began to freeze over, turning into a blue hue.

"Y/N?" Jimin asked.

Y/N blinked and looked up. Its systems noticing its absence on the conversation.

"Can my friends join us?" Jimin asked, closing his laptop.

"Sure thing, Jimin" Y/N said smiling.

After a couple of minutes of silence, Y/N saw a car park. It tilted its head as it noticed Jungkook and Taehyung.

"May I go get them?" Y/N asked.

Jimin looked up and nodded.

Y/N walked out and grabbed the umbrella. The steam coming off of its skin noticeable from even a mile away. The water was getting colder.

"Please go inside. Jimin is in the farthest booth to the left." Y/N said opening the door for them, after walking across the parking lot.

"Thank Y/N," Yoongi said as he entered the diner.

Y/N nodded, closed the door, dried off and went inside. It scanned the booth and saw that there was not much space for it to sit. The diner still had a bar, next to the ordering belt, which was where Y/N sat at.

The lady seemed to notice almost instantly that Y/N was an android.

"Here," The lady said, giving Y/N a notepad and a pen. "Keep your circuits going."
