That night I rushed around to straighten up my apartment before Malia arrived. It's been ages since I tried to talk to another female or get to know one. Yeah theres Kam but....there's just something off about her and im not about to take any damn chances.

As I straightened up the pillows on the couch, I heard a knock on my door. Must be Malia already. I looked around the room to make sure everything looked alright before heading to the door.

I grabbed the doorknob and opened the door, "Well that was fa-"

I stopped talking when I saw Kam standing there with her arms crossed.

"Uhhh...what are you doing here?" I asked her in a confused tone.

Kam smirked as she brushed past me. She looked around and turned back to me with a mischievous grin on her face.

"Kam, what are you doing here?" I asked again while shutting the door.

Kam turned around and began sauntering around the kitchen, "I'm tryna figure out who got your attention all of sudden."

"What??"

"Let's not act dumb, Sin," Kam said with a serious expression on her face now. "You were smiling at your phone and then all of a sudden you got some shit to do. So I'm here to see who got your attention."

I sighed and rubbed my temples as I walked in the living room.

"Who's the lucky girl, Sin?" Kam asked as she followed me into the living room.

"That's nun of your business." I told her while shrugging. "But you need to leave before she gets here."

"And if I dont?"

I looked back at Kam with a raised brow.

"Leave, Kam." I said in a firm tone.

Kam hopped over the couch and sat down, propping her feet on my coffee table.

"I think I'm comfortable right here." Kam said as she grabbed the remote that was next to her.

I snatched the remote out her hand and grabbed her arm, pulling her off the couch.

"Oooo" Kam looked down at my hand and laughed. "Strong ass grip you got there."

"Kam, I'm not fucking playing. You need to go." I said, feeling annoyed as fuck.

"Nope." Kam snatched her arm from me.

"KAM, GO THE FUCK HOME OR ELSE!" I yelled in a pissed off tone.

Kam stepped to me, sizing me up."Or else what?"

We stood there, looking into each others eyes, not saying a word as tension grew between us.

"You dont scare me, Sin." Kam suddenly said with a sly grin on her face.

I was gonna say something but another knock at the door stopped me.

"Looks like your little friend is here." Kam said in a low tone before rushing to the door.

"Kam!" I yelled as I rushed after her but she had already made it to the door.

Kam opened the door and began to laugh when she saw Malia standing there.

"I know you fucking lying." Kam said as she looked back at me.

Malia walked in with a bottle of wine in her hand.

"I didnt know we were having company with us.." Malia said as she gave Kam the side eye.

"Sorry about that. Kam, was just leaving actually." I told Malia as I went to grab the bottle of wine from her.

"Like hell." Kam interjected as she snatched the wine from Malia. "I think I'm gonna stay for a little while longer.
