Tears are streaming down my face, Mum's and I had once again had an argument. The argument was Mum's reaction to me being out late exploring our new property we had moved into just days ago. Hours after exploring I was coming in when l saw an earthy trail leading in to the woods at the end of the street. I was intrigued but it was getting late so I decided to save it for another day. I told Mum about the trail and she went white as if she'd seen a ghost.
After half an hour I had stopped whimpering and had fallen asleep. The night was long and I kept waking up and thinking about the trail that I had found. Suddenly I jolted. I had heard someone open and close a door. Maybe it was my Dad after his long night shift. I heard the foot steps get closer and closer to my door then stop, finally the person quietly opened my door and peeked in. It was my Dad. I cautiously tiptoed to my door and jumped into his arms and screamed in a whisper, "Daddy!"

After ages of talking, my Dad and I had fallen asleep in the early hours of the morning. 10 o'clock came and we had woken up. I felt around to see if my Daddy was still lying on the bed beside me but it was cold. I walked down stairs to find this amazing breakfast that my Mum and Dad had made. Recently they had felt sorry for me as they had pulled me out of school just as I made new friends. We move around the place a lot because of Dad's job.
I had got ready for the day. It was the middle of the holidays so I had plenty of time to explore the area. After lunch Mum gave me until 6 o'clock to explore but sternly told me to stay away from the trail. later that night I returned home to find a note from my Mum telling me that she was at the supermarket picking up a few bits and pieces and that Dad was making a book shelf in his shed. I ran to the shed and told Dad all about my exploring. I also told him about the trail and how it would be cool if we made up a plan for us to sneak out of the house in the dead of night and walk up the trail. He agreed with the idea but told me not to tell mum the slightest thing.
