The Protectors

Part 12

"Ella wait up!" Sora called out chasing after the girl who was running away from everything. She opened the door to the roof when Sora finally caught up to her seeing her crying.

"What's the matter?" asked Sora, confused.

"You are the problem...I don't know why I like you...you are so confusing to me. Addie has always been the one you liked." Ella replies wiping the tears out of her eyes. Sora gulped before he said, "Well, you are wrong, I don't like Addie, never have. It's always been you." Sora stated grabbing ahold of Ella's hand, smiling.

Ella glared at Sora not wanting to let her guard down, but she started to smile when Sora pulls her towards him, leaning in.

Just then, a flying creature landed on the roof making Sora and Ella turn quickly seeing the demonic creature.

It was a demon bird and then they both saw a bunch of them heading towards them with a few other demons floating their way. "Get inside!" Ella shouted pushing Sora towards the door while the demon bird that was on the roof opened it's mouth, throwing up black sludge almost hitting the two teens. Ella rolled out of the way while Sora turned quickly making an air shield around himself.

Ella pulled out the laser pen, pressing it making the laser pop out, "Sora let's go!" She told him running through the door.

"Ahhh!" shouted everyone in the main room. A demon bird broke through a window landing in the middle of the prom. Danny turned to Hayden who had his wrist watch out, shooting at the big bird just as another demonic bird came flying in.

"Watch the glass!" Danny shouted holding up his hands, making the glass stop in the air.

Logan and Brooklyn ran over to Danny and Hayden's side, with Brooklyn saying, "We need to get all of these people to safety."

Gabbie and Krystal ran for the door just as a person with red blood eyes and veins all over his body stood in the way. He had a shotgun aimed forward, when he pulled the trigger, but Stella lifted the gun into the air making it miss Krystal and Gabbie, "Thank you Stella!" Gabbie cheered just as the demon guy hit Stella right across the face with his gun.

Malia floated down, shooting one of the demon birds with a light blast dissolving it. She turned to Brooklyn when Brooklyn said, "Let's get them all out of here using a portal, we can take them to the school."

"Portal appear!" A blue portal appeared bigger than ever so she shouted at the top of her lungs, "Everybody through the big blue circle!" A bunch of students started to run for the circle going through.

Max headed for it trying to pull Danny along with him, but Danny wouldn't move. "No, I'm staying here with all of them, it is our job to deal with all this. Go, make sure everyone stays safe."

Max leaned down kissing Danny before going through the portal with Gabbie and Krystal by his side.

Malia saw Stella with the demon assassin with the gun aimed at Stella's head, "Not today." Malia stated grabbing ahold of her amulet, shooting a blast of white energy at the gun, making the demon get flung backwards.

Stella saw the demon bird about to claw Malia, but Ella came running down the stairs with Sora lifting her into the air, Ella holding Addie's black sword, shoving it into the demon bird's back.

Logan kicked back another demon that ran at him while Danny threw another one back out the window it came with his telekinesis.

The group of 8 teens all went to the middle of the room, backs to backs while demonic creatures poured into the big open room through doors, windows, and breaking through walls.
