Chapter Eleven

Melly's POV

I don't know if I could have just been paranoid of getting my heartbroken but I wasn't trusting Nyjah. I tried to give her love and affection that she deserved. But she would honestly dub a nigga. I wasn't going to trip though or bring it to her attention because maybe she wasn't just the affectionate type. Plus too she was sleeping and sick a lot often so I didn't want to stress my baby.

We were moved in together now so it was cool coming home to her when she didn't have class. She really slowed me down and made me want to settle. "Melly I'm going to take my test." She peeked her head into the room. "Aight fasho." I stood up so I could walk her out. "Good luck slime." I pulled her into a hug. "Thank you baby." She smiled at me. I was bored now without her so I decided to take a nap.

Nyjah's POV

"Hey Nick." I said while letting him into the car. "Wassup." He head nodded. No Nick and I were not having sneaky link ups still. He got himself a girlfriend now and he couldn't cheat on her. Ironic right? "So what did you need to tell me." He looked at me like I was just so annoying now. I rolled my eyes at him and then spoke. "I may be pregnant." I sighed. "By who." He raised his eyebrow. "I wouldn't be telling you this if it wasn't yours right?" I snapped at him.

"So what you want me to do?" He shrugged. "I don't know." I looked down. "I mean I'll help you as much as I can if the baby is mine." He looked down at his phone. "As much as you can." I whispered and laughed. "You tell Melly." He looked at me. "Not yet. And you bet not say shit either." I looked sternly at him. "Nope that's y'all business." He laughed.

We finished up talking about the possibilities of me being pregnant with his child before I went back home to Melly. I didn't like holding things in so I definitely had to get this off my chest. "Melly!" My voice echoed through the house. "Wassam." He called from the kitchen. I walked in and greeted him with a smile. "How'd you do?" He smiled. "I passed but Melly I really have to tell you something." I walked up now standing face to face with him.

"What is it mamas?" He starred into my eyes. A tear fell from my eyes, I've never been this scared in my life. "I might be pregnant." I whined. He looked at me in disbelief. "No way?" He covered his mouth. "It's a possibility." I cried. "That's awesome." He smiled and the lifted me on the countertop. He was now in between my legs and he started to speak. "If you are I'm here every step of the way. There's a little me inside you." He looked down and rubbed my stomach.

I cried harder because what if I was pregnant and the baby wasn't his? Also because he was excited from the first moment and carrying his child would be beautiful. "Wassup slime." He said as he put his ear on my stomach. "I don't want you to get too excited Melly. I don't know for sure yet." I began to twirl his dreads around. "Well why we still sitting here let's go get some test." He helped me down the counter and we were now on our way to the drug store. It would hurt me to see him hurt if I wasn't but wouldn't be so bad if the baby wasn't his.
