Chaper Two

Nyjah's POV

I was now getting ready for work with the help of Sonia it's the least she could do since I was getting her in tonight. "Just a few more coats of lip gloss." She said as she dabbed it on my lips. "And there." She turned me in the chair so now I was exposed to the mirror. "Damn Nyjah I didn't know you were a baddie." She looked me up and down.(work outfit in media). I flipped her off but she was right I was surprised by how bomb I looked too. I was definitely feeling myself.

"Well you ready?" I asked grabbing my keys. "Been ready since I found out Melly was gone be there." She grabbed her purse and was out the door before I was. I laughed because I was anxious to see who this Melly was since everyone was so geeked about him and I had to work extra hard tonight cause my co-workers can't keep there composures.

On the way there Sonia played a few of his songs for me and so far there were only about two through three I actually vibed to. "Girl I can't wait to see his fine ass." Sonia was so excited it made me laugh. "I bet you are." I said through my teeth. She looked at me with squinted eyes then smacked her lips. "You know you are too." She poked her lips out and rolled her neck as she spoke. "I mean this is my first time hearing about him and I never seen him so I can't agree that he's cute." I shrugged my shoulders as I parked the car.

"Mmh let me show you this fine piece of man." Sonia scrolled through her phone quickly. She put it to my face and quite honestly I was taken back, he was handsome. I just don't know if he was that handsome to be fan girling over. I went in the club before Sonia because I was actually here to work so I had to clock in.

"Glad you're here and on time." Peter said as he walked up to me. "And yes the outfit is perfect." He looked me up and down. "You look like you're ready for your hot girl summer." He was about to boop my nose again but I stopped that shit in the process. I sometimes got so tired of his wanna be hip white boy shit. "I'm going to set up my area Peter." I walked off and left him standing there.

Hours Later

The club was packed and hot and more packed than usual because of the famous guest we were having today. I still was setting up because he was going to do his appearance act first then come to just sit down. I didn't understand why people did that at clubs.

"Everyone welcome YNW Melly!!!" Peter shouted over the microphone and the club cheered mad wild. "I guess he is pretty big." I said to myself as I did the last touch ups. "I want everyone in hea ta turn tha fuck up tonight and just have fun." He said into the mic the crowd cheered along so I hurried and finished and made sure I looked presentable before he came to the section. I took a deep breath and proceeded to act casual as the bouncer unhooked the rope so him and his entourage could enter. I waited for them to settle before taking there orders.

"What drinks could I get you all today?" I asked with a polite smile. "Gah Damn." Someone said while rubbing his chin as he sized me. I rolled my eyes but turned my attention back to Melly because that's who I was really talking to. "A bottle of Henny and keep em comin." He said with a wide grin. "I'll be right back with those." I smiled back and went to get the order.

"Oh my gosh! Did you get to see him!!" Sonia asked while grabbing my hands tightly. "Yup." I popped the p." "You're going to let me get a picture right?" She made pouty eyes. "I'm going to go get his order and then you can follow me." I rolled my eyes.

I was back in the section and there was Sonia being a groupie. Literally. She made sure to sit on any of there laps as she could and let them fill up on her, but hey that's her business. I noticed that YNW Melly seemed like he didn't want to be bothered though. I was curious and being one of those empathetic people I walked over to him. "Is everything to you're liking sir?" He side eyed the hell out of me and then smacked his lips.

"Shawty don't eva in yo life call me sir. I ain't no old ahh nigga." He rested his head in the palm of his hand. I put my arms up in defense but was really ready to knock him upside his head. "Just doing my job." I turned on my professional act. "Juh bring another bottle of Hennessy over." I looked over at the table filled with bottles and became disgusted. I wasn't good at holding facial expressions so hopefully he didn't catch my bitter beer face.

"Here you go." I placed it on the table. I was still curious as to what was on his mind though. "Why aren't you partying like you're friends?" I asked while picking up the empty bottles. "Juh not in the mood I guess." He shrugged. "So you wasted your time coming out tonight." I said in a playful manner. He looked up at me with a sly grin. "Why you worried bout me so much lil mama?" He grinned and that cheered me up that I was able to get that out of him.

"You just seemed bothered I wanted to check on you?" I shrugged as I put the last bottle in the trash. "Fasho den I appreciate it." He rubbed his chin. I felt his eyes burn holes through my backside as I skimmed through the section.
